Frank gets the next two windows in my opinion.

Levy has left us in the shit.

He stripped out players good enough to challenge for top 4 and replaced every one of them with bang average punts and young players.

Reducing the wage bill was the priority.

If Frank is really shit we will know by the end of the season and can plan for the season ahead without him.

When you look back at previous Spurs managers AVB is the closest to Frank in terms of character.

That suggests to me Frank will be sacked at some point.

If a top manager was available Spurs should always consider these matters; no matter how long Frank has been in the job.

Frank should be under pressure and he should fear the sack.

THFC must win more games and trophies.

Accepting less has got us to where we are.
Great post.
Like you say, no manager should ever not be under pressure. That just leads to a minging cesspit of complacency.
Our home league form is diabolical ....if that doesn't massively improve this side of Christmas, then Frank's gone.

Who did you want btw?
From the realistic Premier league options I'd have gone for Emery, Glasner or Iraola before even thinking about Thomas Frank.

I don't follow European football closely enough but I'm pretty sure there would have been better options across the top 4 leagues than this guy.

Ideally, we should have made Klopp an offer he couldn't refuse.
Big Club. London. Not a traditional rival of Liverpool....Give him a transfer budget he could work with and there's no reason to believe he wouldn't be interested.

Was Frank your first choice then?

He wasn't my unrealistic choice but he was near the top of my list for my realistic choices.

Yes, some of the stats aren't good at all. However, some of the stats are very good! Meeting in the middle, we look like a team that is better than one that almost got relegated last year....

Give the man a little time, this thread is a fucking embarrassment.
Lol...the stats aren't good. Do these people have amnesia. We lost 22 league games last season with our lowest points total in 48 years, nearly half a century. The only teams who lost more ALL went down. The entire narrative is so stupid its pointless engaging in the discussion. The club will not fire Frank if we get beaten badly by Woolwich. Progress won't be judged on beating the top team in the EPL or by how entertained folks currently are

Finish at least 10th, take the team deep in one of the cups, and then buy some players for next year is what I say. But here we are sitting 5th, getting results with 3 of our 11 out injured and people actually want him sacked. Madness.

Replaced? them all?

We have got nothing out of Solanke, Maddisson, Kulusevski this season.
And Kolo Muani has played longer than 1 half exactly 3 times? So adding him as part of bolstering our squad is totally braindead.

As is total disregard of selling Son.

So on attacking side that means that SO FAR it has been.
MINUS Son, Solanke, Maddisson, Kulusevski.
PLUS Xavi and Kudus.

"replaced them all".
What a load of bullshit.
Minus two so very clearly.

It can be that Kolo Muani will contribute a lot with reminder of the season. That would be very positive.
But so far his impact has been close to zero. Overall 321 minutes out of 18 games so 1620 minutes. Less than 20% of the time.
We replaced those players with Tel, Kudus, Simons, and got Muani. Players wanted by the coach. So yes, I'd say replaced. Whether they're good enough or not is another question, but they're players he wanted.

Yup - wanky supporters with no stomach for what it takes to rebuild a side have turned this football club into a cesspit.
I bet you didn't say the same about the last coach you wet wipe.

The amount of people so enthused by struggle ball is actually rather baffling. Have a bit of self-respect. It's clearly a bad fit, he won't make the season, and when he's gone, hopefully we can find a coach that isn't:

A. Kamikaze ball
B. Struggle ball.

That's all I ask. It's fans like you who have to go around insulting people because they get hurty feelings when someone says they don't like the coach, is toxic. You boys are a special breed.

I don't see the benefit in giving him another two windows, upwards of £3/400m, adding more players the next coach won't like, when there's been zero to suggest he's going to work out here.

We're as bad at the back, we're worse going forward and the football is the worst I've ever seen. Watching us shouldn't be a chore. From next weekend on, of we don't get a win, and that's unlikely, we're in the bottom half, and we'll remain there for a while. And as bad as this run is, after January, the February run is much worse. It's going to be ugly. Needs to be addressed while we're still in a decent position, by the virtue of luck.

It'll be a bit of a weird one if Brentford end the season with more points than us, because it would mean we may as well have hired Brentford's set piece coach as our first team manager.
I think its modern day tactics. You are tactically far better off if the other team press you and have more of the ball than you.

So its actually a lot easier to tactically set your team up when your someone like Brentford and every team in the league presses you. Frank needs to adapt and find a solution but it looks to be a modern day craze. Long throw ins are back. sitting deep and having a low block is easier to coach than having the ball and finding solutions to break down a low block. All data analytics is moving modern day coaching into this defensive shape where you wait for the other team to take the risks while you take none.

Imagine the likes of Brentford are just benefitting from how teams approach them. If they actually become a decent team then they'll come unstuck and have the same issue we are having where teams are sitting against them and refusing to take any risks.

Note the 2 or 3 on this thread who are only too willing to snipe and belittle the club at every fcuking chance.

When we win anything, they are either nowhere to be seen or only too quick to throw in some kind of wretched sh!t.

Waste of absolute space and those indulging these posters simply give them way too much oxygen.

Pathetic.

Entitled imbeciles.

Name names homie

I don't want Frank sacked, I wasn't against his appointment, give him at least the whole season and see where we are then. But I do think if we end up 12th or below, he'll be on thin ice with the board.

In an interview he seemed to say he's intending to play attacking football.

“I know the ethos and the history of the club is massive on attacking football, and there is so much attacking talent in the squad," said Frank. "I’m very, very big on principles and what we do in the final third in terms of creating chances.

“I always say this one-liner: if you don’t take risks, you also take risks. So it’s important we take risks. Risk is you need to play forward.

"If you don’t risk the ball, you can’t create things. We need to be brave."

It doesn't seem to pair well with what I see on the pitch a lot of the time.

A manager isn't bigger than the club. Think a few of you need to remember that.

If you can't see why anyone would be moaning either, says a lot about what goes on between those ears of yours.

People like you who get upset, protecting a manager that has done nothing to suggest he's a good fit are the people who are Pathetic and entitled. Eye test says we're shit. Stats say we're shit.

I just don't get it.
