The players within this squad are no where near up for a relegation fight.

I truly hope we don’t fall into any real danger because I fear we won’t have the fortitude to get out of it. Last year was a bit of a mirage because while we were right at the bottom, we were never in any real danger either.

But the astonishing part was Frank wasn't bothered. It happened right before him. How could he not, as the manager, seeing your players trailed 2-1 at 91st minute wasting 20 seconds on throw in? Silva was more animated at the touch line than he did. It's really quite incredible.
 
We are playing the worst version of Sam Allardyces Bolton team when he used to hit it long to Kevin Davies to win a free kick/ second balls or down the channels for him to win a corner . I’m embarrassed to be a fan of a club that is playing how we are at the moment .

There’s more science than art in coming up from the Championship and a) avoiding go straight back down and b) establishing yourself as a Premier League team .

Fair dues to those clubs that have managed it ( without being owned by a corrupt country/ individual) . Probably the most difficult thing to achieve in modern football.

Yep, agree with this.

We do have the far from ubiquitous Solanke and Kukusevski to return, which should/might help tye cause. And we can outspend many clubs, so we may buy ourselves out of trouble.

The nextv2 games are it.

Frank's not wrong, but I kind of agree with both. I don't mind booing if it's for the right reasons. I know it's not helpful (maybe even makes it worse) to boo a player who is deemed to be not trying hard enough, but if he's playing at his level, then it's unfair and the ire should be directed at the owners.

Vic seems to to be trying, he's got some limitations but is a great shot-stopper. I missed this game (gladly, as it turns out), so can't say if it was a nightmare or not, but doesn't sound like we did well anywhere on the pitch, so hard to single him out.
 
Needs to be braver with his team selection here on out. Devise some attacking strategies drop the dickheads and get the balance with defence and attack right.

What can never be known is how that translates, and right now nothing is working and the players don't seem to rate Frank or what he is asking of them.

None of that could have been foreseen, and crucially there is no Kane, who added to Santo's difficulties.

Frank just seems to hold less respect with players who arent at Kane's level, which seems strange but is also very telling.
