i thought he deserved jan to get some players in, but i dont think the players are playing for him, they dont respect him, how many times have they walked past him and ignored him? the players are fucking shite too, but when a manager is allowing these bunch of useless cunts to disrespect him, hes going to struggle at the top level.
He made his own bed by keeping most of these players and sending out on loan all our academy players. Im
Sure they would have respected and bust a gut for the club.

When are people going to hold the players accountable? We have sacked 5 managers since 2019. It’s the players. It’s the fucking bang average 40 million dollar players that don’t give a damn about playing for spurs. I hope he played the kids from here on out
Frank is average, the players are worse. Embarrassed that most of them are wearing our colours when they can't even get the basics right.

Lange and Paratici can fuck off too. Between the two dossers they've identified and sanctioned most of this garbage. And a corporate Goon setting the cultural tempo... none of it makes sense.

2 mega ego managers that were always gonna be short term (Conte, Jose), a desperate last minute appointment (Nuno), a failed experiment (Ange) and now Frank.

Our work in the transfer market has definitely been questionable, but I think our biggest issue has been failing to appoint the right manager tbh.
5 failed managers and we are steadily getting worse.

We are a few failed transfer windows from becoming Everton and having a few years of relegation battles.

A couple of posters in the OMT said Djed was lazy.
I don't agree. I thought he was doing well.
Simple question.
What poster thinks the Davies sub was a good one?
FB wasn’t going to change the game. We needed something better upfront but he kept Richi on all game. Who was by a country mile the worst player on the pitch. If TF and his band of merry men on the bench could not see that then they to be all binned tonight.

My biggest concern, other than the lack of plan B, is that when we go behind I don’t think he has the methods to turn the game around.

Unless a team is leaving big space in behind it’s just spam crosses and hope it works like Newcastle away.
In a lot of games this season when we are losing or not we don’t look like scoring for a month of Sundays. Today did anyone think we were ever gonna score.

I kept on pausing it to double check what I'm seeing. Situations where we're off the ball and have 3 players wondering around somewhere in the middle, noone on the right, 2-3 players apparently marking someone else on the left. Just baffling positions.

This isn't what I expected from Frank, who seemed to pride himself on coaching formation and the tactical side of the game.
He had time to work with the players this week. He said before the game about it. Looked like they only prepared at lunchtime for the game.

So Frank is responsible for Bentancur not being able to make a simple 5 yard pass, Porro blasting his crosses beyond all the players in the box or out for a goal kick, Billy Big Bollocks Spence giving the ball away and then not giving a fuck to chase the ball down etc etc,

We’re paying the price for poor recruitment and journeymen players that would rather accept a loss and collect their fat pay cheques rather than put in a shift and win.

Too many poor attitudes from players that are content with losing.
Indeed but he picks the players, formation and tactics. He then needs to show bollocks by barking at the players to put some effort in and give them a kick up the backside. Don’t imagine Frank giving a rousing HT team talk to get them playing better. I bet him and his coaches got their clipboards and iPads out. He shows no quality in terms of inspiration and being able to motivate the players to do better.

Kolo, Kudus, Simmons are his signings. He should be getting the best out of them.
Posted elsewhere recently - this is an antiquated viewpoint. Players are not signed by managers anymore, and often not for managers. Managers come and go. Players are signed for the club, managers are hired to get the best out of the players the club has/can get.

Manager, honestly, is a title that should be mostly retired. These guys are coaches - that's their role and job. They don't run the restaurant, they don't buy the groceries, they just cook the meal.

I do think Frank will get more out of our players. This is why I compare him so much to Poch's first year. Same situation - young squad in transition to a very different style. Its going to take time. I have been forgiving of the lack of attacking thrust because:

1. We're dealing with a lot of injuries up front.
2. We have at least been focusing on improving defending - which has been shite for 4 seasons under 2 managers.

The fact that our defence is wandering back to being shite is most concerning for me, more concerned ing than the attacking woes. And my opinion that Romero is overrated is only growing as we drift back towards a 5th consecutive season conceding 50+ goals since our supposedly world class CB was made permanent.

He’s right in that the correct coach needs time but he isn’t that. His brand of pump it up the channels and put in crosses doesn’t need anymore time.
Does he know what he is fixing or identified what needs fixing. Someone should ask him as so far this season his policy has been make it up as you go along. There is no structure to how the team is set up and we make the same mistakes repeatedly. Add in after each terrible performance he says the same things and we then see it again in next game or whenever. Guy doesn’t have clue what he is doing. It’s easy to say it needs time to fix things but what? We won the EL last season and I’m sure he was bought in to take things further not regress.

What worries me is Kudus when we are out of possession. He simply ball watches and has no positional awareness. He's reactive if the ball comes near him, but his instincts are always to be in space, waiting to receive the ball. He's more often than not, never marking anyone and his gas tank is typically empty after 60 minutes and we see sloppy control.

Xavi is showing similar behaviour. Standing around, waiting for Spurs to win the ball back.

Yeah tbh this is exactly the way Villa went down. We were about level with them competing for Europe when they had O'Neill, then after a fun of poor managerial choices and dodgy signings they got worse and worse until they ended up circling the drain.

Given we finished 17th last season we truly aren't that far away from such a thing. We'd need to seriously fuck up over the next couple of years, though, given the amount we're investing. Would take yet another another batch of failed signings and another poor managerial appt for us to end up bottom half regulars. Think both Everton and Villa ended up in pretty dire financial situations and that's not a problem for us.

He needs someone to tell him the Monaco team we faced in the one-way traffic CL game was only the 2nd game for that manager.

Even Dyche already got Forest playing to his way in 5 months lesser time.

Its fucking bull when managers here said they need time. They just want another week of handsome salary depositing into their banks.
Of course I am willing to give him time, and I wouldn't mind a loss here and there. HOWEVER, show me something that gives me the impression that you are doing something with the players you have, that you have a scheme, a style. Improve the players or at least some of them, give me hope, give me a reason to stick with you. All I am seeing is another Ange, only this one moves in the coach's box and talks to his staff.

For all those who have woken up in bad form cos of spurs I have some good news.
Spurs only play twice more this year and after Liverpool game on the 20th we don't play again until 28th so spurs can't ruin our Xmas this year.
That's cheered me right up

People need to stop putting the blame on Levy. It's just outlandish pathetic. Cheapo fuck he may be, but none of the various managers under him played such terrible football like Frank did, and there were some proper poor, cheap ass, opportunistic players over the years. Honestly Frank's ball is the worse for me. Even under Sherwood, AVB, Ramos, we played better, and they were fucking boring already.

This is ALL on cowardice Frank the fraud.

Any decent coaching on our players would have gotten them the basics right. If not, he could have at least motivate them better to play with a stronger mentality. He got them neither. The players had no idea how to play. It's so obvious as there was no shape, no structure and no urgency.

Just clear his office and make the announcement today ffs.

When your keeper keeps conceding everything from outside the box (third yesterday was the only actual worldie of the two) and keeps fucking up simple passes and then you come and back him you know it’s never going to change.

How many goals from outside the box have we conceded? In not even half the season?

I’ve said a few times now, he’s the modern day Robbo. Makes the occasional worldie save but sucks at the stuff he should be doing.

I think he’s a better keeper than Kinsky, but we can’t keep doing the same thing and Frank has to hold these fuckers to account.

Agree.

It's like watching paint dry. Forest toyed with us at 2 nil. Rather than chasing the game, we just capitulated. It's fucking embarrassing.

Nice guy, stuck on stats, and can't motivate this mob. There was enough talent out there to win this game.

Pool will batter us.
