What’s the expectations for the new manager next season? We’ve got a really poor squad who lost 22 league games last season but also just won the Europa league. It’s a weird season. I don’t think we have the squad to win another cup and finishing 8th in the league with this squad and chairman in the current EPL climate with super ambitious mid table clubs would actually be progress tbh.
how did you concl;ude we have a really good squad ?this squad as it is now cannot compete on 4 different fronts, the players that were asked to step upwhen injuries hit failed miserably ,also spurs do not have one world class player in the squad

Fuck me. We were in the Champions League final not long ago. Now 8th is seen as progress... I give up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if not for Kane and Son, Mourinho and Conte would never have come here, now we have no elite players, we're only going to attract Frank level managers. They all now know Spurs ain't going to purchase any elite players in their prime. The last time we got near that was van der Vaart 15 years ago.

The other big names we've had in regards to attacking were all signed as youngsters with potential that left when that potential was met, all bar Son.
Son is still here

So by this logic, Pep will be a flop next time he leaves City ?... Or Klopp will be if & when he took over another job...Or Alex ferguson will be useless after25yrs...

Again, like you , I am not comparing Frank to these greats - just making a point that number of years at club doesnt necessarily mean they will fail
Both Pep and Klopp won trophies at previous clubs in hard leagues. They then spent years winning. Not really the same profile as Frank is it? Fergie is one in a generation, who knows if he would have had the same success elsewhere? Probably but we will never know.

There are some managers, that can get a championship club promoted, and the collective drive of that crop of players and coach to pull up trees and compete, taking nothing for granted is something to behold. That same coach then going to a ‘bigger’ club, with players with a different mindset, level and attitude can often implode. Would the same be true of Frank the same? Who knows but it’s a very different situation and there are more failures than success stories.

If you are a multi-multi millionaire, then you have the luxury to choose based on job satisfaction, and salary can be secondary.

Come on we haven't fallen that far down the pecking order that a manager would rather stay at Brentford than play CL football at spurs the current EL champions.
If Frank gets offered the job he will jump at the chance

I didn't say they wouldn't train. I said they are all looking for a move. Ask anyone close to the club

Major strategic error by Levy. It seems he still can count on your fawning loyalty though, so that's something
Certainly not loyal to Levy. As I said yesterday things are always going to being difficult with him in charge for any manager but Ange simply wasn’t good enough
