My heart is with you, my head is happy with this situation.I strongly disagree. He’s been proven to get results when he has and hasn’t had his first choice team.
I just thought he deserved the opportunity to start the season and take on CL. I mean he did earn that. Yes the league was shit, but for a reason.
Winning the Super Cup? = 35% chance. Our chances in 25/26 imo.....
Winning The Premier League? = 100% No Chance!
Winning The CL? = 100% No Chance!
Winning a domestic cup? = 50% Chance!
Qualifying for Europe? = 75% Chance
Playing more controlled, attractive, winning EPL football for most part? = 100% Chance!
I'd take this in Frank's first season!
In fact we have 50% in any of those, either we win or not.Our chances in 25/26 imo.....

Speaking of 2009, bumbled into this highlight reel today. Old Spurs on both sides. It wasn't just recently?

I liked the stuff he's said in the past about how being at Brentford is the "perfect football life" and he won't leave for just anything.. He won't have been dazzled by the name of a famous club like Tottenham. He's not intentionally coming to put his career in jeopardy. He'll only have left a safe job like that if he has complete belief that he'll be a success. Time may prove him wrong.. but it's a good starting point.I'm starting to think there's some real grounds for optimism. I knew Ange was gone and we were talking to coaches Iraola Silva for some time. But it seems from some of the chatter this isn't some spur of the moment decision on our part or most importantly on the part of Frank. He's been eyeing this job for sometime. He seems to genuinely think it's the place he can test himself at the elite level and get results. He understands the parameters and isn't put off at all. It bodes well.
Exactly this, he see this as a very promising position.I liked the stuff he's said in the past about how being at Brentford is the "perfect football life" and he won't leave for just anything.. Again PSG? 35%? I don't think so...we'll be lucky not to ship a boatload of goals although hopefully, frank might have improved us enough to not be embarrassed. Not much time though....
Bit weird that there is no interview with him yet? Or at least like a short, five seconds video of him saying like "It's a big pleasure to be here, Come On You Spurs!" as they do with most signings or
I had him down for the BL job as soon as I heard Alonso was leaving. Was stunned we even had a chance.

You're probably right, but I'm an incurable optimist!Again PSG? 35%? I don't think so...we'll be lucky not to ship a boatload of goals although hopefully, frank might have improved us enough to not be embarrassed. Not much time though....
