I'm sorry to be pedantic again, but I never mentioned sacking. My post didn't really have much do with Frank, per se, it was directed at us, the fans, and what our standards for success should be, regardless of who the manager is.Corrected, but my point still stands that he needs to be given time.
Sections of the fanbase are demanding instant success from a brand new manager, when we've finished 4th once in the last 6 years and prior to this season hadn't won a trophy in 17.
So if you're saying that finishing 5th with no trophy is not satisfactory and potentially worthy of the sack, then I'd say ...
I'm happy to agree that Frank, or any manager, should be given at least two years to deliver success. But I will not consider 5th in 25/26 and 26/27, and no trophy, a genuine upgrade on a manager who delivered 5th and, regardless of league position, a major trophy in his two year stint. I expect Frank, and the club to do better than that.
