That wasn't his style he won with though, we won that by playing exactly the opposite style we'd played domestically.
I think Frank brought with him the set-piece coach he had at Brentford?
No idea. Also, I’m baffled by the idea that coaching sessions will involve coaching players
Andreas Georgson. TF had him at Brentford, AG then went to Man U, and now he is at Spurs.I think Frank brought with him the set-piece coach he had at Brentford?
So, TF had AG at BFC before AG went to MUFC then AG joined TF at THFCAndreas Georgson. TF had him at Brentford, AG then went to Man U, and now he is at Spurs.
Won our first trophy in 17 years and our first European trophy in over 40 years (only 2 others have done the same).

Will be interesting to see if Frank adapts his approach at Spurs.
At Brentford, they topped the stats for long passes, time spent in the defensive 3rd, and outside of the relegated teams, had the lowest number of touches in the opposition 3rd. It was very much a sit back and chase long balls system. Brentford also had the 2nd lowest number of players dispossessed - suggesting a very conservative, risk-free approach.
The long ball approached worked with Toney & Wissa who could hold the ball up, and with Schade who could win headers. But I am not sure if Spurs have the players for this outside of Richy. Kudus for instance only won 20% of his headers last season (just 11 headers won all season) - which puts him in the top 5 worst headers of the ball in the league (Eze is number 1! haha).
Lump It Long Auditions are tomorrowBrentford were one of the few teams we outplayed last year.
They were an awful watch at WHL - lumping it ling and relying on set pieces..
I hope it's not his natural default.

He’s also not managed a dressing room of internationals who have worked with top managers. It is a pretty established tactic for those teams looking to simply survive in the premier league to play in that way. Those teams that try to play good football (Leeds, Southampton, Burnley, Spurs) are often punished as they do not have good enough players to avoid individual errors.
The worry is that Frank has never played in Europe, and has never managed a team playing good football. Brentford had some of the lowest passing stats and spent the majority of games camped in their 1 8-yard box.
Our best players (Son, VDV, Romero, Porro, Madds, Kulu, Bent) are suited to a high possession passing style - and god forbid we ask Vicario to spend 90 minutes defending crosses and corners!
Why do people always talk about Robbie Williams like that? So hurtful.A demented monkey could teach our players to defend set-pieces, especially corners better than they have been the last few years.
They stopped calling it the Uefa Cup 15 years ago. Tell yer mates up there - not that they'll need to know.

He’s a risk, like any new manager, and the blind optimism many have that he can instantly improve on Ange is odd. Yes his tactics will be less wild, and we will set up more traditionally, but he’s quite a unique character and there’s a chance they think he’s inauthentic and players take the piss out of the Scandinavian and find him aloof and lacking gravitas
Signing four of five first teamers give him a chance as a) they improve on poor performers like Son, Tel, Johnson and others and b) they are more likely to have loyalty to the mgr that brought them in
He'll suit Spurs perfectly then, won't he? No worries maaaate *cough*The worry is that Frank has never played in Europe, and has never managed a team playing good football.
We actually looked better, more comfortable playing in a counter attacking system as opposed to possession based, it was one of the many complaints about Ange as our players were dying on their arse because they simply weren't good enough on the ball to play his style.
Anyway this argument is a bit too simplistic, we have good footballers at our club with a manager with a track record of changing his style to match his opponents and also improving players he's worked with, the chances are is that we're gonna fare a tad better than last season and looking at what he's done at Brentford we will stay in a lot more matches and be competitive whilst the majority of players develop.
The point about European football is valid as it means less time to get your ideas across, less time on the training pitch but could also work in our favour as more games means more familiarity over a shorter period, let's just hope we have a healthy and big enough squad to compete.
After what we went through last season I don't really understand anyone having reservations about this manager and the up and coming season, it's virtually impossible to be as shit as we were last season and I'm actually looking forward to see what this coach and this coaching team gets out of our players.
Whose everyone's money on as the winner of the long throw competition.
I have a feeling Bergvall is an absolute cannon.
