The guy is inheriting a team which finished 17th lest we forget. Won a trophy, granted, but was a total disaster zone in the league.

Nuno was an obvious scramble for someone, ANYONE, who was available, Frank was not. I have no qualms with the choice of manager.

He's in for a rough time but he's being backed less than Ange in the business we're doing. Making Tel permanent isn't strengthening, it's standing still. Kudus is the only real incoming and expecting Frank to perform a miracle here is horribly unfair, bearing in mind that just winning more than we lose would be a turnaround from last season.

We aren’t in the Europa League this season so our chances of winning a trophy are remote. We will have to beat teams that are better than us whereas in the EL all our opponents were worse than us.

Right now we have roughly the 8th best squad. Finishing higher than that would be an overachievement unless we add major quality. The gap between our squad and the CL clubs is mortifying.
 
Poor fucker has no chance. He needs at least another 3 starters signed or we’ll be mid table crap. That won’t be acceptable for levy and he’ll punt him. Give this guy the tools and he might just surprise us but we all know which way it will go. I’m usually so upbeat about this club but going from the biggest high of my life supporting us to being so dismayed just now is actually mind boggling. We know nothing will happen while we are on tour and will go into the season with Sonny,Richy and Johnson still options for us! Add in Ben Davies to that and it defies logic.
Frank is probably sitting thinking he’s a lucky guy to to get the job but he’ll realise very quickly it’s a poisoned fucking chalice. The next 2 pre season games and the PSG game will be eye openers.
 
I think finishing top 7/8 would be a decent season for Frank if we don't do much more significant business.

Can't expect a trophy with this squad, we'd be required to actually beat a few teams who have considerably better squads than us.
 
Jesus Christ, give the guy a break. The season hadn't even started yet and some of you are already writing his epitaph. I was one of those who didn't want him appointed but, once he was, I think the least we can do is back him, and push for the club to back him with signings.

The time to assess his appointment is after he has had at least one, preferably two, seasons at the helm.

But it was when Ange turned up. Spurs can fight for a high position in the league or they can go for a cup. They've never in the 40 years I've supported them been able to do both. What does everyone want? 7/8 in the league that gets us next to nothing.

Just don't see how we get through the CL group stages without another two first XI upgrades.

I think Frank could survive a top 10 finish if we got to the last 16 but otherwise he won't make it.

When we should be top 4, especially with all the players we've bought to bolster the squad after just finishing 17th, whilst we compete on all fronts in a CL season, so that we've got real quality back up to cover injuries and suspensions.

Fuck is even wrong with him.

Baldcunt has given him everything he needs and he sets the bar that low???

Levy to Frank. Okay Tommy. Granted, we only got you one first team player, but we installed the gates, so if you don't win, you have no excuses.
