We simply dont have the players to be expansive, especially with our 2 no 10s crocked. This ultimately cost Postecoglou, thinking we could out football everyone with some pretty limited players. We over compensated by just throwing bodies forwards neglecting every other aspect of the game. When we changed for Frankfurt and Bodo away we looked a semi competent side. I think it could be a tough watch this season but thats not Franks fault, we just dont have the talent.
I don't think it will be anywhere near as tough as watching 11 players play well below their technical ability, struggling to achieve even the most basic footballing principles, and generally having no clue at all what to do or when to do it, but as it stands I do expect it to be pretty uninspiring stuff.

Like you I won't blame Frank for that one bit, he can do all the tactical drilling in the world, and maximise every little detail to wring out every last advantage possible, we'll probably still play some pretty football even, but we have no cutting edge whatsoever.

Didnt say you did, I meant the board, there's a lot of real negativity here.
Glasner was and he absolutely would have moved
We'll see where and when he goes next. Just because we're bigger doesn't mean we're a better bet. We are an absolute fucking shambles right now and his Palace team comfortably doubled us.
Arguably achieved more than Frank at Everton
Laughable

Brentfords wage bill is tiny compared to Evertons. Who also play in a 44,000 capacity stadium which is a fucking bear pit in case you havent been. Brentford? what's their capacity? Mind boggling!!
Also, it is a complete myth that Frank plays front foot expansive football.

you missed the bit about his team top scoring in the 2 seasons they were in Champo. If he has players who can play attacking, he will.
Hes a pragmatist who values versatility depending on opponent.
er, that's what I said.

Ok... I disagree hugely with your view that Moyes had it better. There was season after season of chaos, a few new owners, not able to spend, having to sell your best players season after season, fan protests and so on. Compare that to the calm stability that Frank worked under and its chalk and cheese. What is laughable is the fact you don't comprehend that and look at one dynamic, in this case wage bill to make a point. You do this a lot and you should try to look at other angles. It was you that said you valued premier league experience when looking for our next manager so I was trying to understand why you value Frank above the experience Moyes brings. You could have easily come back with something like did you see Moyes at West Ham but you tried to justify Frank over Moyes with the only thing you point at which is Frank's record under a very small wage to revenue ratio. I accept thats impressive but in 4 premier league seasons his football is transitional based. Very Scandinavian. Loads of huff and puff but ultimately a bit of a tough watch. By the way, he was the only PL manager who lost twice to Ange in the PL and in both games there was no hard luck story. That alone really worried me based on Ange being completely schooled by everyone other than Amorin.

I didn't miss the bit about his team top scoring in the Championship but for me it means nothing. Leeds last year, Ipswich year before, Burnley before that and Fulham before that. And just for context, those two Brentford seasons you talk about, they scored fewer than all four of those teams.

I think we are done here because I'm going to get the usual round of idiots saying I cant wait for Frank to fail which is absolute bollocks or the classic Ange has left get over it which again I couldn't get less about Ange. He was out of his depth. My only point was there were better candidates in my opinion and no Moyes wasn't one of them as I dont value PL experience as highly as you.

Good chat, enjoy the season
