One defeat seriously puts the downers on this fan base doesn't it.

Not sure if the down and outers were posting after beating Woolwich?

I get we lost yesterday but give the bloke a chance ffs.

Obviously 4-0 isn't good, but it wasn't the defeat by itself, it's how we played that was so depressing.

Even in the 7-2 hammering they handed us there were parts of the game where we hurt them, or at least gave them something to think about. Yesterday ... nothing.

After 10 games under Poch we had 14 pts and sat 8th. We then preceded to lose at home to Stoke the week after, our 4th home defeat of the season. That had us in 10th. We'd only really played City and Liverpool, Woolwich were pretty weak at that time. He also had a better side than this one.

Also if we did sack him then who's coming here with this squad? There wont be a Conte to dig us out of a hole, forget the big name. It would be the likes of Marco Silva or Kieron Mckenna.
Ryan Mason who will have Albion top of the Championship.

Nah mate, you are miles out to judge tactics and structure from a pre season friendly.

If there was anything to judge Frank on last night it was the effort levels because most of them looked like they didn’t want to be there.

Give it 10 pl games before deciding what the tactics and structure look like.
We will have to disagree on the first point. Pre season or not there should be a visible semblance of what we are trying to do. I saw nothing. It was a complete shambles and we have one week to go. I dont think a switch is going to suddenly be flicked and we are going to look completely different against Burnley.

I do agree the effort looked ghastly and I really dont buy the whole flying back from Asia excuse. It was alarming to see them stroll around.

Happy to give him 10 games... to be fair the first 10 PL games are quite kind so there should be no excuse to not be in and around the top six.

how generous

what happens after 10 matches if it hasnt gone well? Sack him? Why not, we sacked Nuno... why not Frank if it resembles Nuno?

AFCB wouldve fired Iraola after his first 10 games - what happened after those first 10? Don't care, we are not Bournemouth

Palace wouldve fired your hero Glasner until Dr Tottenham turned up. What happened after that? Where did I say Glasner was my hero. Utter BS from you. Would I have taken him before Frank. Everytime because he was in my opinion best available from uninspiring and realistic options. And again, we are not Palace so don't care about their first ten games.

Why didnt we fire Ange after his last disastrous 10 end of 2023-24? Don't know, I'd have fired him after Ipswich.
Here we go. More BS but I'll play along.

We did see it against Woolwich though.

I agree on no excuses for the effort because we have CL this season and they will have tiring schedules that require effort when they have nothing left to give. tbh that will prbably be Frank's biggest takeaway, these guys couldn't win a PL game after a EL game so he has a massive job on his hand to get them winning after CL games.

He's a great manager for a small club with a small budget.

I don't think he's the right fit for a Big club with a Big budget

But he's now managing a Big club with a small budget

It's a very confusing conundrum to be honest.
