Nice to see Mrs Perryman Mrs Perryman . Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor Shades Shades and Mick Cooper Mick Cooper

The match, not so much!

Same Andy. Less said about that game the better.

More likely is you’ll always see one of Bentancur and Pauline with 2 of those 3.
Palinha shouldn't be playing against teams that won't dominate possession against us. His ability as a football isn't good enough when we don't need that skillset. Which is why I'd have preferred Ederson.

Edit to say that I absolutely think Palinha is a quality player before I get jumped on. Just that he's a player with a specific role, which he does better than most, we just don't always need it.

We , he needs a striker in before Monday Xavi isn’t a miracle cure Richarlson looked lost today shithousery yes and being a nuisance but getting young goals regularly, nope

A striker who could hold up the ball would've helped but it wouldn't have cured our problems today.
Too many tactical mismatches going on in midfield and with porro v a man twice his size

Even if Frank got the tactics wrong it does show player limitations.

- Udogie with his left foot much better going forward than Spence, at the same time Spence is vastly better suited to the physical challenge of Semenyo than Porro. Udogie will help coming back

- Need a 10. Annoying Simons not available but at least we got him.

- Badly need a left winger. Be it Savinho or Lookman. This isn’t criticism of Johnson, he is who he is but a winger can score no goals and make no assists can win you the game by dribbling, pressing, ball carrying just like Semenyo. It’s too easy for any team to simply turn up and heavily mark Kudus, with Lookman as well that options isn’t available. We need a top left winger even if the guy scores less than Johnson he will win us more games with his play.

- in games where we can dominate the possession need Bergvall as the 8, strong and smart on the ball. Use Sarr for the likes of Liverpool and Woolwich where we sit off and counter.

I think we are well suited to playing big opponents but we need more adaption for when we have the ball more.

Agree they were big and bullied us caught us & Thomas cold. They had the attitude little Bournemouth playing big Tottenham they won’t play like that every week.

Seen messages on here already angling for Thomas Frank to be replaced.

20 minutes into the game today we had people falling apart, calling the team shit, saying the manager needs to go, same old predictable bollocks.

After the transfer window we’ve had I’m taking a break from this place. Such an insanely toxic environment. Not to mention the people who have no interest talking about the club, all they want to do is ragebait and wind people up.

I know there used to be a load of cunt offs but I don’t think it ever used to be like this.
Put the rage baiters on ignore.

There’s very little going on between their ears.

Gawd knows how they deal with life on a day to day basis!

So many mentioned about beating midfield press, but they pressed us beyond the midfield, right at our CBs. It's a very intelligent but risky high press from Iraola. He knew we had no no.10 or deep lying playmaker like Madders. The press was a very mobile one that could easily transition from pressing our CBs to double teaming our FBs.

The main issue was with Bentancur couldn't pick a pass from deep. Someone said he doesn't take risk and he's absolutely right. Together with Romero, both of them keep passing back so many times even when we could actually go long for a break when Palhinha or Sarr won/recycle the ball. They wasted so much of our possession to counter. And Bentancur isn't as quick as Madders who could receive the ball from CB to pass at a turn. He's the biggest factor IMHO that we couldn't play forward as much as we could when there was a huge gap in the middle left by Bournemouth knowing we couldn't utilise it without a Madders. Then they became even more effective in double teaming our flanks at every opportunity.

You're absolving Frank of any blame here.

This was more on his tactics and fearing Bournemouth too much, which invited pressure on us. Palinha shouldn't have started in hindsight, and changes should've been in the first half, never mind 60 mins. It's very evident we were being overrun, targeting or right side.

We got into the game more when we had more balance in the side to attack, not because Bournemouth tired.

Also he said melting.

Which is the auto switch off word for any rational discussion.
