We have to keep two things apart - from one hand it is EXTREMELY early to draw any real conclusions. Frank has just started his work with the side. Clearly lot more time is needed to see, to which extent and how fast can he learn from mistakes. Frank has my full support and not for one second have I even thought any "TF out" thoughts. Have to separate two things - fundamentally bad manager and very poorly coached game.

That being said - last night he fucked up in pathetic fashion and yesterdays loss is 100% on him. Very fucking poor evening for him. It is right what some people say - it makes it more difficult to rotate when the 2nd string is much weaker. It is. But no one forces you to rotate LIKE THIS (!!!). 100% on Frank and his fuckup. Who in the right mind would rotate TWO technically best attackers AND the best midfielder of this season ALL AT ONCE? That's full idiot move. I told in local fanclub Facebook group long before kickoff that this lineup is chosen very poorly. Yea, OK, we were more or less forced to play Richie there, even though he had horrorshow vs Wolves. But come on ?!?! Benching Xavi AND Kudus both? + Palhinha? That is criminally poor call.

And so then - 1st half proved what a shit idea it was, but miraculously we went to interval 0:0. Chance to get back to drawing board. Switch Bentncur for Palhinha and pull off Sarr (absolutely not ready for yesterdays game - not a shit player, but a shit performance) to have Xavi on #10. As alternative to proposed 2nd sub - > pull off Sarr for Kudus to have a go on the wing and make Johnson a SS behind Richie. Anyway - it was painfully clear that we need massive change, or else we will fall behind. He failed to respond to his own fuckup, and we went behind (!) before he could make a first substitution.

Saying that "it shows great spirit to fight back" is absolute garbage and pathetic excuse. WE DID THIS TO OURSELVES! You cannot say "but I was limping" as an excuse for shit 10 km run time... if you decide to shoot yourself in the leg with a shotgun. It is caused by yourself and not winning against Bodo is total and unmitigated failure. There is NOTHING to take from that game. Nothing at all. No pride or anything.

He needs to learn how to rotate without team playing like League Two side. Rotation is absolutely essential over long season. But you cannot handle it like this. If we decided to throw in a game, then we could have also rested Mickey, Porro, Spence, Bergvall and Richie and play with B-list players and U18 :D - seriously doubt that this option would have looked worse than what we had to endure yesterday. First 65 minutes could have been worse Spurs performance I've seen in last 15 years.
Yeah, the thing is that Bodo away in the CL IS a game we should be going all out to win. It's actually more important (IMO) to win that game than it is to win vs Leeds this weekend. Don't disagree the rotation was crap.

Got battered by a team that's Championship level, should have ended 4 or 5-nil but we got massively lucky to get a draw out of it.

But TF goes out and praises the players.

I'm absolutely not TF OUT, but still...fuck right off finding anything positive about last night. He should've given them twats a right bollocking, but to be honest he was as gash as them...horrible tactics, no friggin in-game management, just shouting like a maniac from the sideline and murdering 126 packs of gums.

Sort it out, this ain't Brentford.

Couldn't agree more.

There is NOTHING to praise there.
But he fucked up worse than any individual on the field, also refused to make amends in HT. So maybe he felt guilty enough not to rip into them.

It is Champions League. Its the biggest freaking competition. Okay, luckly there were many games at the same time, but if we would have lost against such garbage team, we would have been (rightfully) total laughing stock. No excuses. VERY poor performance, let's please learn from it and do better next time around.

I think one fundamental issue from all our poor games has been also due to players available. We have GAPING HOLE in the side... of player... I just do not think we have (on sufficient level) - we need a #8 with brilliant passing ability and at least decent ball retention ability.

Palhinha is #6.
Bentancur - criminally afraid of the ball, cannot turn with the ball or drop shoulder to save his life, passing ability is too poor
Sarr - very dynamic and good off the ball. closes down players and makes their life uncomfortable. Can run with the ball in some instances and also help with scoring/assisting, but he is not one to build the play with passing from the middle
Bergvall - I think closest to what we are looking for, but honestly, not quite there yet really. He is phyiscally quite good and can keep the ball, but not finding visionary passes-crosses-throughballs enough (at least yet).
Maddisson and Xavi - #10, most useful playing with the ball higher up the field, should not build it from deep.
Kulusevski - pretty much same as Madders; he could be morphed into the role I am talking about, but hasn't really done that so far
Gray - played too little to tell

I was really hoping we could snatch Paqueta from Wet Spam for example. And he has never been an option for us but Tonali from Newcastle is good current example. He can control the ball, change direction and play vertical passes quickly for teammates. Right now we just don't have such player on sufficient level.

Some people take it out on Palhinha, but just imagine how much we'd improve if we could pair him up to likes of Tonali (or dare I say it - someone like Spurs-era Modric)?!?!

In your previous rant you blamed 100% Frank.
Now its the players🤷

Ange had a far superior squad in the attacking sense than Frank has now.

No Son, Maddidon, Kulusevski and Solanke.

Kudus is good but he's the only truly attacking player we have out there at the moment, possessing the requisite quality. He can't do it all on his own

Xavi will be quality but he's young and knew to this league. Maddison on the other hand has years of PL experience behind him.

It really is night and day stuff. We've much better defensive players and Frank is playing to our strengths.

Solanke and Kulusevski will help our attack massively.

we are very unlucky at the moment in terms of injuries, no doubt about it.

these spells really do highlight who we need to get rid of tho, theres shit here that just dont cut the mustard.

They're not a garbage team.

These are some some of the scalps they've collected at home.

They're not bums by any means and are very well coached and have a brilliant work ethic and make sure they maximise each individuals output to ensure there are peak the sum of their parts.

Very impressive for such a small club in the middle of nowhere.

We beat them last season because we actually had effective attacking players.

Maddison and Solanke contributed goals to the first win and Solanke again in second game.

I totally agree. Agree re Paqueta also. I also favoured Grealish for a season. We really missed that one.

Yeah, we miss that midfield general. And you're right re Bergvall. He's very good, but he can't yet run a game.

Your last paragraph, I don't think there's been a spurs manager in my lifetime who managed to achieve that. Lost count of the Europa League group games/early cup games we've lost against inferior opposition because the second string come in and play appallingly.

Fine result if you are happy finishing 7th.

You can easily be a top 4 team and draw or even lose away to Brighton - it’s a tricky fixture. City lost there already, Woolwich drew their last season, Liverpool lost. That result isn’t the issue.

Wolves was a bad one and so was dropping 3 at home to Bournemouth. Those are two fixtures you should be winning if you want to be in the top 4.

Another concerning performance but we're not allowed to mention that...

Still give the guy time, you melters are a bit pathetic and those that want him out already are not even worth listening to.
There's always going to be haters....some people are only happy when they're hating...
It's called Schadenfreude...
