Have a listen to the first half of Monday’s VFTL podcast. It explains exactly what I’ve been saying about the squad and team and how we are hamstrung by the players.
We just need to play better football. He has his problems, like the insistence in playing Palhinha and Bentancur and his changes. But it's a very good starting tbh, let's consider we have very weak attacking options and maybe he's doing some miracles. But ok, I would like to see us playing a lot better than what we've seen recently.
No that isn't what is happening here. It's based on the style of play.
And to be fair I have been saying Iraola since October last year, so it's been a year.
Every manager needs time regardless of who it is. I am just saying and I have been consistent, that I think Iraola's football has a higher ceiling. It's more likely to turn a club like us into an elite side, compared to Frank's style of play.
But who knows how it turns out. Hopefully Frank becomes our greatest manager in history.
The squad are, in the majority, fucking bone idle and seemingly incapable of even looking interested. Far too comfortable at the level we are at and at the salary they are on.

Last night against Monaco was only what, the 2nd or 3rd game, for the new manager? And they played through us so efficiently when BOTH teams have fair of injuries. Apples to apples, this is a fair assessment of Frank ball vs Monaco manager's ball. And honestly it doesn't look good for Frank regardless of Vicario.
And I can tell you guys what, we have already been playing Frank's way. The wide positioning of players, no middle linkage, direct football from keeper, set pieces emphasis, long throws. These are all Frank ball.
People who keep thinking we are still far away from what Frank is implementing the ideal are basically finding an excuse to what they are not liking to see. Dull attack? Don't blame the players that much - it's an area Frank is still getting gripes to. It's his limitation. Of course we will/may improve, but that's also depending on how far a level Frank can go, IMHO.
