I'm surprised so many are surprised by this....forums whether they are sports or motor orientated thrive on discussing bad experiences i.e. fings going wrong with their teams or faults occurring with their vehicles.

Sure there is some exchange over the positive aspects but nowhere near that which follows the negative events....human nature innit.

People use the Internet to vent and get away from their frustrations in life, in reality the vast majority of shit people say on here us actually true, they're just looking for a reaction.

Managed to get to third, for now, without them.

But imagine key players had been fit and Frank had been able to stabilise Biss, where do you think he'd have us if he'd been able to be rotating with something like this:

Kinsky, Spence, Danso, Dragusin, Bentancur, Sarr, Bergvall, Kulusevski, Solanke

Does that fill the 5 point gap between us and scum?

Would we be ahead of them.

Think it shows how important the coming window is.

If the Lewis' are not taking us for cunts they'll realise this and know that they can bring a couple in to give to Frank ability to push us on this season.

Scum are the only real game in town it seems and if we had more firepower depth I believe we'd be the ones to push them.

Our defensive record make it possible.

Again, what Frank has done so far with what he's had to work with is pretty remarkable.

Just objectively.

January window is really important. There’s no way Frank or any other incoming manager would’ve been happy with our forward/wide options pre or post window. Full back too and the lack of options for CL registration.

What happened to the FA Cup?
I've always loved winning the FA Cup.
It's 9 games in haha.

What a dreadful comparison.

Also, that doesn't matter.

You've just proven your own theory wrong anyway if you say Sunderland is an achievement and Brentford isn't.
You tried to make Frank taking 6 years to go from 7th in the Championship to 10th in PL as a great achievement.

I just pointed out that Le Bris took Sunderland from 16th in Championship to where they are now, in one season. I'm just highlighting the fact that Frank's achievement isn't as special as you try to make out.

Tbf Sunderland have spent more on net transfers in 1 season than Brentford did in 7. Imagine they're also spending a pretty penny on wages to get the likes of Xhaka into the club, whereas Brentford have always been very frugal. We also need to see where Sunderland finish. They look good but Blackpool and Hull started strong when they came up too...

Still an amazing job by Le Bris so far but let's not pretend it's a direct comparison.

We will always remember 2025/26 as the season Sunderland were in 2nd after matchday 9.

Surely one of the greatest achievements in league history.

Third in the league with this going on and just 2 losses in Thomas Frank's first 14 games as Spurs manager. Yet sections of this fanbase slaughter him out of pure spite because he replaced their favorite manager (who finished 17th on 38 points).

Le Bris hasn't achieved anything yet though in the Prem so it's a pointless comparison

Well lets see how things are at the season end before we crack open the shampoo for them

There's a long list of promoted clubs going back Donkeys who even led the table or thereabouts and then fell away, some of them relegated too. He's playing good stuff and winning at Chavs after going 1-0 down early is a fab result, no question. Any team that's promoted and stays up has done really well. Mid table would be fantastic.

Objectively, the way we play, there’s no point Maddison in the same team as Xavi. Kulusevski being a big beast that runs, is more the style Frank wants. He was never going to use Biss over Bentancur either in form or not. The only thing I was confused by was Sarr but he’s scored again so it’s more likely he starts to take minutes at 10 instead of the double pivot now.

Think there's a selection of fans with an underlying reason though.

I'm content.
Despite having just spent about 20 hours travelling cattle class back from holibobs and catching a cold en route

How was Mauritius at this time of year? Did you see much of the island? We were there for about 3 weeks so we got to see pretty much all of it.

Those little multi coloured hill things were a bit pony - very much a tourist trap.
Although the actual nature park / waterfalls were very beautiful.
