But so is our squad. Johnson and Richarlison.

I mean, I don't think it will be much better with Solanke, Kudus and Kulusevki out there.

May be a bit better but, Frank needs to sort it out.
 
Goals we scored bailing him out have been lucky. But I could still give him that, perhaps confidence can be bred.

But fucking shit management to not see out the 3 points. It's really poor.

And he's supposed to make us defensively sound. Not buying it AT ALL.

Possible changes:
Udogie for Spence to get that left side going somewhat, as it's completely idle at the moment
Tel for Richarlison, or Johnson moving up front with Odobert replacing Richarlison instead
More long balls to bypass that empty area in the middle of the pitch altogether, since we're playing 2 up front unlike usual

I get where he's going with this as he used a similar shape against Copenhagen as well, but it:
  1. Just doesn't even get off the ground without Udogie providing those overlaps on the left.
  2. Will continue to underperform with Richarlison out there. Tel is a much better candidate for that wide striker role that Frank seems to envision for the left winger.
  3. Obviously needs Kudus on the right to make things happen if Porro's going to sit back like that.

This is basically us

We have an almost Gooner level set of defenders minus a spare left back to cover Udogie properly.

A Man United or Palace level set of midfielders.

An Everton set of attackers.

We arent miles off being a really good team but need to make the right upgrades if we are to build consistent success.

On recent business, I wouldn’t trust our recruitment team to get any additions right, even if money is available!

Well the squad isn’t good enough for sure and he does have some injuries. But you could rotate against Copenhagen they are rubbish. Utd you go full strength.

We need to stop thinking the CL is a higher level than the PL because some of the group games are not.
 
with these players up front the manager has to change from 433 if he doesn't he won't last out the season
maybe play 2 up front with 4 or 5 in midfield
yes we have a lot of injuries-- thats why he needs to change the setup
I wanted ange out because he was unwilling to change, this guy is going the same way
 
This is the most Un-Spurs squad of my lifetime.

- Depth (despite an injury crisis)
- decent defensive options
- no world class players (Kane and Son or Modric and Bale)
 
I thought he was alright today. Even in the first half we get in the final third a lot.

The team selection was likely him managing minutes and not wanting to rush players back.

But he made the subs pretty quick and it turned the game around.

This is where the injury crisis bites. The players not injured you have to manage minutes to prevent the crisis getting worse.
 
Have lost alot of faith in him. His tactics are dull and his player selections are poor.
That xavi sub reaction shows fans are losing faith, if things don't improve quickly the crowd will properly turn.
