Telling people what they can and can't think is the behaviour of an attention seeking, entitled twat. Just so he knows.

I am Frank in but am I fuck gonna tell people what to think or that they’re (insert insult here) if they believe otherwise … I strongly remember wanting Ange out very early and being called similar.

The frank out crowd could well be right having spotted it nice and early.

Whatever mate.

I think you and many others are living in cloud cuckoo land, and allowing bias and nonsensical expectations to take hold.

And you or anyone using the Woolwich game to suggest it might add pressure, in the near certain likelihood that we lose, might as well start calling for Frank's head now.

Ridiculous and weird fanbase and getting worse.
I don't know if the fanbase is getting worse, but this forum certainly is.

Great post.

Halfwits on this forum thinking the 'pressure will be on' if we don't put a performance in against the scum - they make me laugh with their absurdly stupid comments.

Anybody who thinks Frank gets less than a full season (and more likely two) is living in cloud cuckoo land

Silly people are just projecting, the fans will moan and have a right to but the board aren't even thinking about sacking him before he's even been given a chance to work with his full team.

Outside of a really poor run of results, completely agree.

For perspective, even Slot would be under pressure if Liverpool had another 7 PL games and suffered 4 or 5 defeats.

I am not pro or anti- Frank, but he has to be given a fair chance to deliver.

The game against that lot, win or lose, does not make or break that belief and only imbeciles will use either outcome in that manner.

The same as the many who apologised to Postecoglou and called for him to stay, when we won the Europa. It's got to be a view of the whole picture and not just a segment in isolation.

That said, I suspect marquee signings will be left for the summer anyway regardless of who the manager is.
Well in that case I don't know why ENIC released information about making extra funds available, if not much is happening on the transfer front until next summer. I was thinking we could guess what the board think about Frank at the end of January by observing transfer activity.

I doubt anyone on this forum knows what the board is thinking. Postecoglou didn't get a chance with a full team last season , so what makes you think the injures will make any difference to the boards opinion of Frank?

Ange 2 two full seasons, that's not the best example.

He got the team 5th in his 1st season which was acceptable by the looks of things, he had one bad season in the league and goodbye. So Frank has a bad season this season and goodbye, no?

Do you think Postecoglou would have got a second season if the club were 17th in the league on his first season?

Ange had a solid first league season despite an awful finish, his second season he clearly only survived so long because we were holding out on the EL.

Not sure why people think our board will not pull the trigger if it got drastically bad. They would. We’re not there yet at all though.

Yeah I reckon that if the team slide down to below 12th before Christmas/January, which is quite possible looking at the points teams have below us in the league, we'll start seeing stuff in the media about Frank being under pressure etc etc.

12th is for the likes of Brentford, Fulham or Palace. Top five is the minimum. No excuse. I don't remember anyone wanting to give Nuno time...

I think 6th would be good enough this season, good chance of extra Champions League place, so 6th would get Europa League. I wouldn't want to see him sacked though unless we're into 12th and below territory, which would mean the team isn't improving but getting worse.

This isn't my argument as I don't envisage our form to be as bad as last season.

No because unless you think Frank will have us down near 17th and we are losing consistently then the board won't act.

Last season was an exception, I very much doubt you will see it again from any other manager.

Well I think 17th isn't the only position a manager would get the team to at the end of the season and get the sack. I think any of the numbers which end with teenth above the relegation zone and it's trouble. Then it's really a matter of a couple of top bods at the club, either saying yay or nay, he'll be on thin ice.

Maybe we have what might be called a right-wing fanbase.

I just think numerous posters on here live in Fantasy Island although we don't have Ricardo Montalban.

In a world where this couple is possible I think we all live In a Fantasy island.
Anything is possible!!

To be fair, we absolutely must put a performance in against the filth, same as we would against any other team, but moreso as it's them.

"Expecting" a win, when you take into account our current arcs, is the absurdity.

Indeed but this discussion started from whether he will be under pressure if we lose to Woolwich not where we finish...

If we lose to them the board aren't going to suddenly wet themselves unlike the fans, that was my point.

Yeah I know what you mean but to say his job is on the line if we don't is just plain ridiculous lol.
