Pity me 🤣

That's the funniest thing I have heard all hour.

Just because you use stats, doesn't make you right, the government uses stats, doesn't mean they are right either. Look at the state of the country.

Stats are not everything.

I would say I actually pity you, unfortunately that would be an insult to pity.
Yes, I pity you. You're an internet hard man. Genuinely pathetic behavior. So I pity you.

I've not been wrong this far. Doubt I will be any time soon.

Anyway, done speaking with you.

If you go back and watch the Woolwich game at the beginning of last season, you will see that Spurs dominated the game and were the better team. Woolwich sat back, surrendered the ball and played scared. The result didn't go Spurs way, due to poor defending of a corner.

it will be interesting to see if Frank attacks them on the front foot; or sets Spurs up to surrender the ball and hope to snatch a set piece goal.
I bet he goes with Bentancur and Palinha, so we'll not be dominating anything.

They have so much pace and different ways to play. Dreading this one.

We played some really good football early last season, quite unlucky not to win a few more games.

That's the frustrating thing - so do Spurs.Johnson Odobert, Tel, Kudus, Porro, Udogie, Spence, VDV - all players that want to be chasing balls in to space. But Frank seems to instruct safe passes to feet, with back to goal.

I bet he goes with Bentancur and Palinha, so we'll not be dominating anything.

Well, we will dominate back passing stats!

I watched as much as probably anyone else here did, Dudu, oh wise one, who watches every minute of football ever, by the sounds of it.

Did they set the world alight, not overly, but you could see what they were doing, unlike whatever the hell it is we're playing. But hey Dudu man, they didn't have a preseason and ~£200m to implement their ideas either, did they? As far as I remember they took over struggling sides, shot of confidence at the wrong end of the table.

So stick your contrary strawman argument where it belongs.

Lol

So basically, probably highlights and unlikely, unless they were playing Spurs, a single game.

We were a shitter side, struggling in every aspect despite winning the Europa. Have you forgotten last season?

Are you that obtuse?

You literally do not get football, humans, anything outside of your own pompous I know everything attitude.

Another with not a single positive thing to contribute to the forum going on ignore. Good riddance.

Numbers could be slightly off in some cases, but most likely not enough to change the conclusions to be drawn radically.

11th in number of shots conceded
11th in number of shots conceded on target
8th best in average shot distance of shots conceded
14th in xGA
6th in goals conceded

18th in shots
14th in shots on target
3rd best in average shot distance (due to creating a good amount of our chances from corners, where you are almost guaranteed to shoot from a close range, I assume)
15th in xG
5th in goals scored

After the initial high of a few clean sheets to start the season, I can look at things more soberly and say that the huge defensive improvement that is taken for granted is also exaggerated. We've improved from outright terrible to average despite, or mainly because of, playing with a back 6 in most games and looking slightly more organized in pressing. That's all.

Attack on the other end looks quite bad with the sole exception of goal scoring, which is bound to come back down to earth at some point by the looks of things. Our attackers and other players at the moment are actually doing an exceptional job converting low percentage chances to goals, despite universal complaints about the state of our attack and how it's letting Frank down.

Terrible attack + average defense usually lead to a bottom half place in the long run. Sheer luck and this almost unprecedentedly congested points table won't help him forever.

maybe but we werent unlucky in any of them

Still waiting for that list

I'd say having one man screw up otherwise decent performances (and what should have been a 100% start) is somewhat unlucky.

It was also unlucky to have a CB sent off in 5mins vs Qarabag, but we still eventually won 3-0.

Beating City is never to be sniffed at.

Things got pretty lean after the first 3rd of the season though.

Thousands of tickets available for Fulham in the exchange. Not just a few hundred. Loads in every part of the ground.

Speak up ST holders. What’s happening?
As I always feel you guys have your fingers on the match day experience pulse.

Just the late kick off? Can’t get home?
You can’t sell will you still go?
More to do with the Club only opening the exchange up for this fixture just last week despite opening listing for it as far back as the 24th September...people who travel distance for games have probably looked at the KO time and thought fuck it.

Club probably delayed opening TE based on business considerations i.e. selling their worse sited seats rather than allowing ST holders to pass on theirs instead....I prefer to regard the Club's stance to be driven by money grabblng greed.

I questioned the Frank appointment from day 1 and have been critical after nearly every home game so far where I've questioned the direction we are going.

But this thread is absolutely ridiculous. Its pre mature and incites unnecessary pressure. We have a NLD this weekend! We have to be fully behind the manager this week.

I urge someone to delete this thread. Create it again after Christmas if things are looking really bad but not now. This is just making a mockery of our fan base and I really would question the motivation behind creating such a thread.

Well said.

The thread is deliberately timed for one reason only, and winning or likely loss should have zero bearing on sentiment towards Frank.
