Frank won't get that because he isn't inheriting a mess like some posters think he is
So if he is not inheriting a mess I think it just proves that Ange was way out of his depth in the PL , add in his stint at Forest who look 100 times better just for him not being there it’s very much a case of thanks for the EL but the best decision Levy and Enic ever made was to send big Ange packing!

The question literally was though...
Yes we both agree that is the case.

Where we seem to differ is I believe that Frank should have redirected his answer back to the upcoming match, like many a manager has done in the past when a journalist asks questions outside of that particular event.

I don't want to see his energy be used by discussing the history of Arteta, he needs to be more assertive with the journalists about the type of questions they ask, unless he actually enjoys discussing Arteta's employment with our rivals, on the cusp of a NLD.

Sure but the same can be said for nearly every manager in the league.

Every other foreign manager in this league has some sort of weird pronouncing English phrases, you obviously haven't seen Pep's, Emery's or Maresca's press conferences?

I guess though their fans aren't petty enough to hang onto every word and focus on someone who's native tongue isn't English, people tend to give the benefit of the doubt to foreigners and try to comprehend what they're trying to say because we're all adults.

I guess it's understandable if he's asked a question about a rival manager in a press conference for an actual game with them, I think he's perfectly entitled to answer it and reference him if the question is about comparisons, that's nothing to get het up over.

They'd be an issue if he was constantly referring to them, he did that a couple of times when he first joined - some fans didn't like it understandably and has stopped since then.

I don't mean Frank's accent, or a wrong pronunciation, or perhaps using the wrong word. He has a habit of saying things like ''very very very''.

He even says ''very very very'' on the official Spurs website.

Will you hope to have the final say, if it’s a player potentially in January or the summer?

Thomas: “I always have a final say, you know that, of course, in the end. It's team work. I'm pretty sure if one of the, I would say three of us, because Vinai is the same, not technically, technical or whatever you call it. Of course, he will have an opinion, but the three of us need to agree and if one, let's take an example, it doesn't matter if it's me, Fabio, and it's very, very, very strong, they should not be the player, then that's probably not that right. So, I'm pretty sure that we will find a good way to do it.”

It's the way he speaks at times, it comes across childish when he does it.

I think your reading to much into this , thought the interview was Very, very, Very good , you forget as well that managers aren’t politicians, they aren’t trained for this kind of thing !
I liked the fact that they were trying to make it about the gooners set pieces and he bought up our record on not conceding from set pieces , also mentioned about how he taught their current set piece coach everything they know and that he isn’t going there hoping for a draw , he wants to win every game.

Nitpicking the way Frank expresses himself in English is just asinine. Especially when he’s doing media interviews and has to play a straight bat to any questions.

Jesus wept, what are you on about. If you think Frank’s English is bad I can only imagine what you thought of Conte, Poch, Redknapp, Jol etc.

Is it your primary expectation for a football manager that they speak like Brian Sewell?
I'm not arguing that Frank's language is bad, I just cringe when he talks like ''very very very'' as if he's an entertainer at an under 7s children's party.
