Very disappointed in the way we approached the game today , far too defensive , is it TFs or the players mentality I don't know .
TF said it was not the way we were supposed to approach the game yet time and again I seen players with the ball and space in front of them , slow , stop and pass back , Vicario not releasing early when an Arse play broke down .
I know we have some very average players so I am going to cut TF some slack , but there needs to be a total mind change to how we play .
We play too slow all the time it’s basically time wasting to our detriment esp when we go behind as you then see up in tempo. This is summed by end of first half we have free kick just inside our half. 45 plus 3 with 1 min left. We take forever to take free kick and when we do we just play it back to Vic and ref blows for HT. 2nd half we have throw in right side mid way in their half. Spence looking for forward options but there was not a player within sight and throws backwards and ball ends up with Vic who is the worst kicker of the ball.

Oh yes if he had just barked out instructions, these players would have magically turned into prime Barca.

Plenty of legitimate reasons to criticize Frank and we act like this shit is the difference. For example, he should have known this XI would perform like this. We should roll and die with Bergvall and Sarr, who are actually part of the future and not freaking Bentancur.

Franks options at forward are laughable.
Cmon at least give some instructions out wouldn’t have hurt surely. We were pathetic first half and that was obvs early on so could have tried to do something about it to get back to whatever the intention was.

The long setup for our FKs looked totally ridiculous. Pretending we have a set piece opportunity from a Vicario FK at the halfway line looked so pauperish- like we are seriously counting this as a major chance? Almost same situation for the Danso long balls- just made us look so desperate and weak to play that way. We aren’t fucking Stoke.

this and the chelsea games have put him in heat and rightly so! AGAIN with the fucking bentancur and palhinha! teams are loving it when we go into games with this! they know we are going to have fuck all! another pathetic XG! on top of that you have a front line that has no guile!

richarlison, kudus and odobert...what do you think thats going to do? you can put KDB and zidane behind that and its still an uphill challenge, never mind bentancur and pal!

needs to be brave and start getting gray and bergvall out there more, this current shit isnt working and it never will, that was obvious long before today!
He is not brave enough to play youngsters other than ones we have paid a lot of money for from overseas.

Spurs not only hired Frank, but they also hired almost the entire Brentford staff. A group that finished 17th and 10th, never played in Europe and never had a decent cup run.

Of course, every coach has to start somewhere, but Frank had done nothing of merit for Spurs to expect him to coach a winning team.

At Brentford, the tactic was to sit back, surrender the ball and lump it long and chase at any given chance. What was the club's expectation when hiring him? Did he promise attacking football?

Meanwhile, they sacked the guy that finished 5th with an injury ravaged squad and won the clubs first major trophy in 40 years.

Comedy of errors.

Pathetic. Get some help.

Foul voted for being a weird Ange cultist.

Questions will be coming thick and fast now, and rightfully so. Our gameplan today was Try Not to Lose. Left every creative outlet on the bench to play stodgeball. Appalling attitude to front up to our biggest rivals with, regardless of their run of form.

Not on the Frank Out train just yet, but I'd be wiggling my tits at Xavi if this keeps up. Was always my first choice and felt like a significant step for our squad and footballing culture.

I'd take Hoeness otherwise if he can be tapped up. Seems like a good fit for this club, if we've a shred of our philosophy left.
Ironically I think him playing Odobert was an attempt to be a bit more attacking and give us an outlet. Against PSG we played the same system but had Sarr in there and it actually worked v.effectively as he gave us an extra, incredibly mobile body to press, harass, cover, etc. He's exactly the player that probably would've picked up Eze in the pocket.

Instead we went with the a super defensive approach but with a token attacker thrown in who offered absolutely nothing and meant Woolwich often had an extra man in the middle of the park.

It kinda sums up his 'stuck between 2 approaches' thing. Either go FULL stodge and play Sarr in there, or actually set us up to press properly and play a bit more on the front foot. As it was we got the worst of both worlds.

Klopp is done with management. And he has said 1000 times that he won’t manage again in the Premier League. Why the fuck would Klopp want to join us anyway? He literally has nothing to prove.

From what I was told, Klopp has early onset dementia and was struggling with simple tasks during this final year at Liverpool. He's retired from coaching now and hopefully enjoying life away from pressures of Football management!

Just don’t try it. This is all yours we aren’t that last season rubbish from you

Finished 17th last season without Romero, VDV, Udogie, Richarlison, Vicario, Odobert fit to play.

Finished 17th last season without Xavi, Muani, Kudus, Palhinha.

Frank has no excuse for that performance, it was abysmal. There were no 18 year olds playing out of position. No makeshift back 4. He had 4 strikers fit to play, and left his only playmaker on the bench.

the double pivot is absolutely killing us, it works if you have an elite passer in there, you can get away with one player who screens, the other needs to be a fucking player.

not sure why bergvall has been shunted out, hes one of the bright sparks at the club right now.
Palhinha-Bentancur are his golden boys. He would never switch or break them up. Is OK, he will understand when they cost him his job.

Think the job is looking a bit big for him at the moment! Setting us up as if we are plucky underdogs in every game! Only looking to counter what is in front of us, rather than trying to put our game onto them!

I do like Frank, but a few more toothless performances in big games like today and Chelsea and I see him being let go. As I said, nothing against him, but he’s been given money to spend, had a decent squad, got a full pre season, his full back office staff and we still don’t haven’t any identity!
