Is it? Is that what Woolwich have done with Arteta? Did they sack him after two 8th place finishes?
Did Bournemouth sack Iraola after not winning a league game in his first 10 games?
If you keep sacking managers then why would any decent manager come here? What time frame do you give them?
Using one example out of the other hundreds is hilarious.
Southgate got England to a Euro final, world cup semi final, Di Matteo won a CL, Ange won an EL. Hell, Slot won the league last year. Do I think they're great managers, no. Arteta has failed spectacularly with that squad he has, and if he wins it's because they have two top players in every position, while City are going through a rebuild as are Liverpool.
The days of Ferguson's and Wenger's are over. Managers come and go. Villa hired managers quicker than we did til they found the one that good for them, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Palace, Bayern. Real Madrid essentially forced Ancelotti out because it was stagnating. If Iraola played the football that Frank plays here, he's absolutely have been sacked and rightfully so. They were in diffs, he came in mid season and rescued them from going down, there were clearly signs he was getting them going, but devoid of confidence and no time to implemt his system always would make it slower. Wild comparison. Frank has had a preseason ~£200m and two loanees of players he wanted and we're horrible, and have been all season, and it doesn't look like getting better at all.
But nah, we'll just be shite because we hired the wrong guy and we'll go with it. The pro Frank arguments are getting more ridiculous by the day.
