Who do people actually want to replace Frank that we can realistically get??

No one.

He should get the full season unless it's loss after loss etc

What I want is him to show some balls and start acting like how he was talking when he got the job.

He clearly understands the principles and traditions of the Club.

And yes injuries have made it tougher but that's no excuse for the horrible football he's currently serving up.

It's not like the squad is championship standard.

There's still plenty of quality to work with and the bottom line is he's not doing anywhere near enough with what he's got.

That needs to start changing pretty quickly.

Massive few weeks coming up and we'll see if he changes things.

Poch, Iraola, Hoeness, Italiano, De Zerbi, if it needs to be someone who is available on free right now I would take a punt on Marco Rose or even Adi Hutter. Neither men are amazing managers and could easily flop dramatically in the PL, wouldn't be with us for long, but they play vertical, progressive football and a high press which we need to get back to making the culture of this club.

It's crazy to me how we attempted 1 progressive manager since Poch got sacked and it was the one with the most suicidal off the ball structure, possibly in the world, then decided that we need to go back to Nunoball.

I thought Brentford would crash and burn after Frank, Wissa and Mbeumo left but they are doing ok. I just looked at the xg table and they are 4th there with us way down. It made me wonder if their success story was more down to recruitment than TF.

Iraola always seemed like the obvious pick to me but apparently Frank ticked every box. Surely one of the criteria was attacking aggressive footy but we are seeing anything but that. I'm not Frank out yet but am definitely very concerned. I tend to be one of the last to want a manager sacked but after a solid start we don't seem to be progressing at all.
Glasner is the one for me. He’s got a lot of credit in the bank now and will no doubt have his pick when the time comes. We should be sounding his team out already.

It seems we got Frank on the assumption he could change his style.
It's the equivalent of getting a keeper and hoping he can play cb.
If you want a manager to play good expensive football - it might be a good idea to get one who has done it and been successfully at it.

He is square peg in a round hole.
We are expecting him to suddenly to learn on the job.
That was my assumption :(

Weren't we all complaining about Ange, Conte and Jose being dicks in press conferences. Even Poch came out with a lot of cryptic nonsense.

I think Frank speaks well most of the time.
oh Jesus we havent descended to the depths of what gets said by the manager

I remember eejits complaining about 'Arry sounding like a used car dealer. So feckin what. he was possibly our best manager since Burkenshaw but oh no! Can't have the manager acting like that!!!

I like a bit of cuntiness that Jose, conte and Ange had. Bored hearing the same regurgitated trained responses from players and managers. I wish more players would do it. Hearing Vicario at the weekend was a scripted apology to appease fans.

Big few weeks ahead of him now. If indeed players are acting up and not following instructions its already over - I despise this player power bollocks but unfortunately thats the way the game is now. Its why Managers like Frank can be 'successful' at Brentford - those players need to work their balls off to prove themselves and survive in the prem for their careers. Our players think they are already elite because they are at Spurs and have delusions of grandeur so they don't have to do the hard yards as a minimum.
They want a big name manager then when they get two of the best defensive ones in the game in Mourinho and Conte they still can't keep it up over a sustained period because they are weak minded cunts.

I wasn't enthusiastic about Frank, Silva or Iraola when they were the clear candidates tbh and cannot for the life of me understand our long term plan for progressive attacking football over the last few years given who we have employed however I like the man and the way he talks, can he adapt for a big club though? The evidence so far doesn't suggest it but he has had 50 goal contributions taken away from him which has to be kept in mind.
In saying all that if we lose to Fulham and Newcastle it really wouldn't surprise me if they sacked him knowing us.

We need to get Sarr and Bergvall into that midfield tomorrow and start attacking or he is fucked.

Xavi Hernandez.

Who is pining for Ange?

But on the Forest front, if a few games was enough to persuade everyone he wasn’t the right guy, why are we giving Frank a load more games? And I’m not taking the latter part of Ange’s record with us being added to his slow start at Forest. New job, new squad, so his time with us shouldn’t be taken into account. Nor should Frank’s time with Brentford. It’s either working or it isn’t.
harry7 for one! I’ve also seen a few similar comments over the weekend.

Forest were flying under Nuno and have done well under Dyche which would indicate it wasn’t the squad at fault when Ange came in.

We’ve been pretty shite for some time and we have also lost key players (Sonny, Madders, Solanke, Deki) which would indicate to me it isn’t Frank that’s the problem!

Don’t understand why Ange deserved so much time and not Frank. Anges first 10 games deluded a lot of fans.
This is the point that's so annoying to me. At this time last year, you had supporters begging for Ange to get more time despite us having played terrible football for over a year. Zero progress since the first ten matches. Ange had three transfers windows to build his squad. Yet we're supposed to pull the plug on Frank one transfer window and ~15 matches into his tenure?

Tbf to Ange, we finished 5th in his first season. Although it wasn’t great, it was solid finish after Kane left. Second season was a distaster from December to the end of the season. His first 10-12 games pf the last season were alright, we had some decent results, some bad, after Brighton loss everything went shit.

Ange didn’t have this back line most of the time, but Frank doesn’t have Maddison or Kulusevski or Son. So there’s that. But still, we should be more dangerous in attack.

Ange wasn’t the solution, I’m afraid Frank won’t be. I’m alread tired of long balls and free-kick football. That won’t work here.

I hope for the best, but PSG will probably be a defeat. If we don’t get 3 points against Fulham it’s probably over.

We beat Man city 4-0 at the Eithad this weekend last season! Would have been hard to sack Ange after that.

Newcastle loss
Chelsea loss
Copehagen win
United draw
Woolwich loss
PSG loss ?
Fulham home ?
Newcastle away loss ?

I can’t imagine him being here if he wins one in eight matches.

If I was in charge of Tottenham Poch next season for three years locked. Think it would be painful first few games as his philosophy takes a while for players to get into rhythm but last time he was here by October we were be in full flow. Also think he would turf out the players with so called reputations that werent upto it. He did that with Adebayor. We just paid him off.

Our fans seem desperate to sack managers with no real idea how or who would replace them. Addicted to turmoil.
I don’t get it, managers here are on a hiding to nothing.

Players on the other hand, they can do fuck all every week and yet fans still suck them off. It’s never their fault. Always the managers.

How many managers do we need to go through before people realise we keep signing shit footballers?
