Yeah, weak as shit fans, demanding the manager to get sacked.

When the players are just shit...

Then sack then next manager after three months, expecting shit players, to something other than shit.

Rinse and repeat....

Then start crying why are we not like Woolwich... Who spent 7 years getting to where they are now.
But we were kept being told that the players are much better than 17th. That a decent coach could come in and make us a team much better. Why is it now that after all the money we have spent players are crap. It’s just to suit people’s agenda.

Our managers get the final say as in: "do you want these bargain bin players or none at all?", so yes they get a final yes or no. But it's not much of a say is it?
£40M on Tel is bargain bin money?
don’t see Fulham , Bmouth, palace, Brighton , wolves , etc spending that sort of money on one player. Wilson cost £30M ffs. It’s not like we buying players for £5M. We are spending good money on crap players. Although we are told some these are actually good yet they can’t get a game. Bring all the loanees and send the dross we have highe money for out on loan.

Thank you

You articulated it better than me

You can easily see this because you can tell that Frank really doesn't want to play Xavi and doesn't know how to fit him into his system and he was supposed to be one of our "marquee" signings.

Our transfer team and several of the bad eggs need to go before any manager. They are fucking inept
Oh but he developed to Toney, wissa and mbeuno and so on. He can’t work on Xavi who is far more technical than the above. May be he can only work with certain types of players namely big and fast.

Yeah I think the truth is somewhere in between. Whenever we have a bad run suddenly the players are all total shit, but when we're in decent form no-one complains. We came 5th two seasons ago with a team that regularly included the likes of Royal, Davies, Hojbjerg, Skipp, etc and didn't include many of our newer signings (who most consider to be upgrades). Sure we've had a few losses and injuries to key players but I don't buy that the squad is rotten to the core.

That said, it's pretty clear the squad isn't where it should be given the money we've spent. A lot of players either aren't good enough, aren't in form or aren't playing anything like their full potential.

Overall I'd say this squad has big issues but should be comfortably top half, at the very least, and at the moment we're playing like a lower-mid table team. Sadly, even teams like Palace have a better first 11 than we do now, but our squad is far deeper and we shouldn't be a complete shambles unable to create chances. Frank needs to do better and if he doesn't he'll be out of the door before the new year.

I didn't watch the game but I have it on now. I saw the goals, diabolical. Our stats are all record breakingly bad. xG is appalling.

I said tonight was huge for Frank after the truly insulting derby defeats against the two scums, but to then lose again to Fulham who haven't won away all season. I am pretty sure we did this last season too to a team, who won their first away game of the season against us. There is no doubt the team mentality is absolutely fucking pathetic.

But Frank has to go.

Frank was always a gamble. None of us wanted him as top choice. What he did at Brentford was good but not outstanding. He's out of his depth at a club of our size.

The constant chopping and changing of the team is a really bad sign, but more importantly, the football is so so so bad. As bad as I have ever seen it.

And the biggest red flag of all, is the players don't look to be playing for him. They aren't giving their all. Yes we have some really poor quality in our squad, and big issues for sure. But a manager cannot survive this. He simply isn't getting anything out of this squad. The players are shite but not this shite.

For me we need a clear out of the squad, but Frank needs to go and Lange with him.

I get changing managers is not good, but this isn't the man to get behind. At all.

Keeping him risks us going down.

He's been a total fuck up of an appointment.

Now we will see what the new Lewis children are like. Will they pretend Frank wasn't their man, claim he was Levy's hire, and fire him? They could easily try to make out he was Levy's hire (although Vinai is on video as saying he was their pick).

Or do they stick by him? Feasibly it can't go on much longer.

I think he'll be gone in weeks, definitely by Xmas.
vinai’s man, will he need to go?

Every year or so we end up in a situation where we think this is as low as we can get.. Then in time we get to taste a fresh new flavour of shit.

When we were 5-0 down in 20 minutes at Newcastle, I had to go and walk it off. And I had a long hard think about what the future of the club is and if there's any hope going forward.. I concluded that there's always a way back. We just need the right appointment and a ruthless summer and perhaps this feeling of crisis will encourage it from the club. Delusional obviously, but there's always hope is what I've always felt.

I'm looking at the future and I can't see a way forward. An ownership that we know good and damn well will behave the way it always has done. A squad of players with seemingly no exception, who are now showing open contempt for the club (because the fans are the club). Any new player we ever sign will be infected by that feeling, because it's a collective feeling. They're feeding into one another.

In spite of that. 3000 fans are going to travel the length of the country on Tuesday, getting back home at God knows what time, in the freezing cold. All the while knowing that almost certainly they are going to sit through shit talking from the opposition fans while they watch their team get battered.

Average of Frank's xG over the last 18 games where the stats are available is 1.11
Average of Ange's xG over his last 18 games for us where the stats are available is 1.26
That is pretty awful considering Frank took over in June a rejuvenated and trophy winning team looking forward to kicking on with a fresh start while Postecoglou's last 18 league games were either an injury ravaged catastrophe or the last 3 months where he saved our best players exclusively for the European campaign.

Out of interest what was Spurs xG for the first 13 games last season?

I've seen a lot of people use this "Frank took over a team on a high" argument in the past couple days and I don't buy it.

Sure it's a fresh start, but it's still a squad that lost 22 league games last season and without Son, Solanke, Kulu and Maddison - almost all of the creativity and experience in the front line has been ripped out of the side, along with a huge share of the goals.

Plus, while obviously there will be a sense of unity and camaraderie following the Europa win, I don't buy that this would have a significant bearing on how we'd play this season, or that we'd come into the season on a huge high, regardless of who the manager was. We did well to win the EL but as a barometer of the team's quality it was far more akin to Birmingham winning a League Cup or Wigan winning the FA Cup than a brilliant team storming to victory. I don't recall those teams did too great after those wins because they were 'trophy winning teams'.

Frank's been shit, no doubt, but the idea that he took over a team with immaculate vibes and few injuries/issues is a massive exaggeration imo.

That or he inherited a bunch of losers who were so in the habit of losing against their peers that it’s become second nature to them. A group of players who decided that they needed to throw league games against premier league level footballers in order to bully footballers playing for AZ Alkmaar and Bodo Glimt. Rejuvenated? Sure, as long as the opposition wasn’t up to much. If they were it was a 38 point season where losses were shrugged off. All concluded by a shit off against United.

Of course one could argue that from day one Frank hasn’t had Kulu, Maddison or Solanke available and is having to repair the mentality of a squad who have the ego of champions league winners but the actual ability of a team who walked through some fodder but made Frankfurt look elite.

Decent coach might just be the key words there. Looks like we’ve replaced one dud of a coach in Big Ange with another.

I used to a decade ago, but live in Aus now. I never liked going to games, especially away games as some of the fans were vile thugs shouting endless abuse.

I like watching the game, and don't understand the tribalism and violence.

I'll take South Korean fans any day of the week! Polite, get behind the team. Sing their hearts out.

Yeah - so many clowns on Youtube and Reddit pining for Ange and making comparisons.

Just cos Frank's been wank doesn't suddenly make Ange great again. He was 1 loss away from being unilaterally considered the worst Spurs manager in the modern era. He's a busted flush at this level and fans need to move the fuck on - I thought the Forest debacle would've finally shut them up but apparently not.

Blimey you can't even post a gif literally announcing you're fishing without getting people snapping that lure out your hand :D

Gonna be along season lads. Buckle up
