Beating Brentford at home is good to see but let's keep things in perspective here.
We have been awful to watch under Frank. Today, one game, we were a good watch.

Just a minute, we weren't 17th at this stage last season, with 15 matches played we were 11th with 20 points. So in fact it's a small step being 9th at this stage with 22 points.17th last season - 9th this season and in touch with the top 6 really.
Big steps.

Yeah that's why I have been worried. Even if we're inconsistent you want to see some positive signs and it has been tough to find them. It looked surprisingly good today and I hope it was a sign that things are improving rather than a false dawn.
There’s no indication whatsoever that we will collapse the same way we did under Ange. Look a lot more stable.
I do think it helped that we had a balanced line-up and approach, though. There have been previous games under Frank where the players have had the physical commitment but the entire system has basically been dysfunctional or the players clearly haven't understood everything asked of them.Until the first goal I still thought we looked a bit uninterested but once that went in they all relaxed.
Anyone noticed how shit we are at throw ins? Everyone hides from the ball.
It’s one of the things that makes me think it’s the players that are the problem.
If they can get themselves up to play like that today why didn’t they v Man U or Fulham? There’s a long way to go before I can trust this group.

sometimes you have to be patientPL: There has been the special one and the chosen one, now it's time for the right one!
And if we take Vicario, Romero, VDV and Udogie out for 3 months. How stable would we look?
Woolwich have lost Saliva and Gobbriel for 3 matches and dropped 5 points. Injuries matter.
Which is why the people who attacked Frank for resting VDV on Tuesday might want to reconsider their positions. That was brave management under huge pressure.
Was this talk going on last season with ange? Yes it’s not been ideal this season. Feel like Ange got so much more wiggle room with the media especially and to a smaller extent fans. Let the new manager have a couple more transfer windows to buy players he wants, and also get rid of the deadwood he doesn’t.We've been a lot more down than up, with nothing really to indicate things will get better. Today was encouraging, needs to ensure he builds on it and I'm not just talking about results. We need to see improved performances going forward
The way we played today is how Brentford played under him, after he had time to establish his principles and gel the team properly and get them fluid and connsistent.
Give him the season to bring it all together.
Frank was allowed to sign one player and bring 2 on in on loan
I’m sure Danso was an obligation to buy loan so he was joining whatever. Maybe right with Tel, i think Frank green lighted but is a club purchase like Spence was.Kudus Simons Takai, so 3, that's not including the 2 loan players Danso and Tel who became our own players after Frank was employed. Whether he had any say in those transfers IDK.
Are Simons and Kudus Frank signings?I’m sure Danso was an obligation to buy loan so he was joining whatever. Maybe right with Tel, i think Frank green lighted but is a club purchase like Spence was.
Takai would be 5th choice at best with everyone fit, Frank would have had zero initial input in this signing and would’ve gone out on loan if fit.
Think it’s very harsh to label an obligation to buy loan and 2 other club signings as Frank’s choices. Tel definitely isn’t a Frank signing and we don’t know how much say he had on the final transfer being converted from loan.
He obviously likes Kev but he’s definitely an Ange transfernone of these lads are Frank transfers, he’s ended up with them
