My issue with the performances is two fold.

1 lack of aggression. That is on the manager, why are we so passive, reminds me of Jose’s tenure.

2 attacking patterns. Not seeing it.

In the last 5-8 years we have had two managers with clear attacking patterns and aggression. Poch and Conte. Ange maybe for a short while but that was unstable.
 
One shot on target all match and that was grays speculative effort.
This has been the trend since those first pre season games. XG in the low 0.1 kinda area

You can fix the keeper, and a get lw but fuck all will change tbh

Player wise we are poor But surely Frank should have worked out a basic system that he can trust
Playing Richie as a CF just doesn't work, he hides behind the CH's hoping they will miss the ball and it will fall to him
 
- Frank gets sacked because no one has any patience
- Club panic hires the biggest name available with no regard for whether his tactics fit the players we have
- Look better for the first few matches, then more dross performances because our recruitment has been shit and our players are mental midgets
- Fans immediately call for the new manager to be sacked by March

Rinse and repeat. Clueless club with no direction or culture.

I know a lot of people don't like Conte.


But the summer of 2022 was an unforgiveable missed opportunity. Another in a long line.

People like to rewrite history and say that he thought he was doing us a favour and never wanted to be here.. Bullshit. He'd have no trouble walking if that was true. He loved it here when we battered Woolwich and saw out 4th. The club didn't go all in on him that summer. And that's what started the rot on his tenure. Yeah, a poor coach in Europe.. But as good as it gets in the week to week business of the league.
