Do recently promoted Sunderland have a better squad than us? no , but they play to win the game and will leave everything on the pitch and they play like losing is not an option , i honestly think we have got so used to losing that it’s just another day at the office , worrying times ahead for us

He just doesn't inspire at all. He hasn't got charisma or that air of authority that players fear a bit.

I'm sure he's a nice bloke but it just feels this will develop into a car crash.

We're a boring ineffective team with no imagination or personality. And no signs at all of any cohesion or any attacking patterns of play.

dont give managers a lot of time? postecoglou had 2 years off the back of 10 good games..... nearly got us relegated.
people need to stop with the hyperbole.

17th was awful but he mailed in the last 3 months of the season to focus on Europa. There was never any danger of us going down after we beat Ipswich away.

We finished 13 points ahead of Relegation. If that’s nearly being relegated, then Frank has us in a dogfight (9 points).

lucky there was 3 awful teams, if it was the 3 promoted this year then wed of been going down.

the whole 'he fucked the league off" is absolute bollox. he rushed back romero and VDV for a league game against chelsea which saw one of them go back on the physio table. he just wanted an excuse to why results were poor against premier league opposition, he proved at forest how shit he is.

I just refuse to believe someone couldn't coach this group to attack better.

And he's asking for time and at the same time making substitutions that absolutely scream defeatist and damage limitation.

I mean that's sackable.

Do we really want a manager this negative?

Someone who can inspire could get 20% more out of this lot. They're nearly all internationals ffs.

I'm Frank out now after being unsure for the last few weeks.
Someone can. We sacked him.

Rightfully because he lost so many games and had massive defensive issues, but they were more effective on the attack. And the squad has been improved.

Anyone that wants to play on the offensive will do better than this - we mostly set out to not lose and we drop points anyway.

That Warnock clip that goes around of him shouting "You've gotta fucking die to get three points", is always used as a joke..

But it's bang on. Especially in the Premier League. Every game is the big one.

That feels like the one of the big difference between the proper teams. The one's that you can hang your hat on and the rest. Are you unwilling to drop points? Or are you willing to let the game die out.

We saw it with those dickheads yesterday.. If our current team concedes that late kick in the teeth it's over. We sulk until full time.. They didn't accept dropping points with a shrug and a stuck out bottom lip.. Fixing that is priority number one for whoever is in the dugout for us.

Think he will go after we inevitably get slapped silly by Liverpool next week.

You know Salah is coming with a hat trick.

May as well pull the trigger now
A big club will certainly do it. Get the new manager bounce and possibly get a positive result against the bin dippers, because just so right they are in some kind of disarray. What better time to cast them deeper down the abyss.

But oh wait, we never acted like a big club. And the doctor is just nice to arrive to see the scousers.

1.56 goals per game in the league this season, 1.68 last season. Hardly more effective, and the numbers were identical going into today.

The squad has not improved. We did nothing to replace our star LW, and our starting striker and both 10s have been hurt all year.
