Tbh his only manage Brentford. Wouldn’t count the team in Denmark who I think normally do well. He didn’t win anything there.
I'd agree on the midfield. On paper we should have been stronger everywhere else on the pitch though!
Their goalkeeper Sels was injured and their back up keeper was making his premier league debut and we barely even tested him!!

I think in some respects its hard to judge players quality when the team/system/something just isnt working

Have you been in cryostasis for the past 25 years??? We've been trying our own way but I would politely point out that our own way has, and continues to fail miserably. When the rest of the league zigs we tend to zag and when we eventually work out we should be zigging the rest of the league has started to zag. That is Spurs in a nutshell.
And Dyche had two days and no pre season and they looked a proper side, well drilled, everyone on the same page... honestly this bollocks about managers needing time is such a false narrative used by those who wish to protect a manager.
We have two good centre backs (both are which are still overrated, Van de Ven having huge potential but big flaws, Romero regularly unarsed) and then some athletic but flawed fullbacks. A completely meh goalkeeper.
A terrible midfield. Pretty much all the starters right now should be depth. Palhinha can’t do anything but tackle.
We’re inconsistent as a result. We can get played off the park by Forest but also beat city or be the first team to win at Everton. Depends on the day. We don’t have the players to be consistent so we are where we deserve to be: middle of the road and any game is a coin toss.
Our midfield and forwards especially is a list of absolute tat. Our best one (Maddison) is fucked. Solanke is OK and also broken. I don’t rate Kulusevski but he probably has a starting place in a team where utterly useless fuckers like Odobert and tel regularly play.
The quality throughout the league has gone up. Anderson pisses all over any centre mid we have on our books. Forest have many players who would start for us. They’re also ‘meh’ as a whole though so next week they’ll be shit and probably lose.
Surely a good thing and tbh you could argue they 'copied' us when we had Poch, difference is that we didn't back him whilst they backed lego.

Agreed - you know she's only with you for the money and she is putting very little effort in but you persevere because your mates (Brighton, Newcastle, Villa etc) have low maintenance mingers but at least they give head in public without being asked.

If both clubs were to approach players offering them similar money and starting 11 positions, all of them would be picking Spurs?
I don't think so, and that's my point. Probably be slightly in our favour. They don't care about the 80s but living in London would be a factor for some.
Newcastle have better players to play alongside and have more chance of being in the Champions League next season.
