I think they just don't respect Frank and they want everyone to know it via their lacklustre performances. They're trying to guide the supporters into resenting the manager.

Frank wants them to play on the back foot, be underdogs like Brentford, they don't dig it, and they wont like being reminded of last season's 17th position.

When he keeps referring to needing time what he's actually saying is the players are substandard, they need time to improve or he requires time to sell a lot of them and build a new team.

Of course I'm making assumptions.

Back foot?

We are very much playing front foot football, just doing a bad job of it.

No, I think you’re right. I think we have a group of players who love an easy life.
Ange ( forgive me father) was a funny cove. Alpha dog but oddly Laissez-faire. Romero had licence to do what he liked arriving late back from Argentina, Bissouma told you can be my man late the next day laughed off. I get why the players liked him he was a motivational speaker who never tactically prepped for the oposition and seemed very chill he was the antithesis of Conte. Not sure what Frank is.

Spot on - if you put Simons in Man City's team he would run riot. Kudus on the wing for Liverpool would look like Diaz on steroids. Romero at the back for the Chavs would see them rarely concede. We've got good players but for some reason we don't have a good team. The only conclusion is the manager is not getting buy in or a tune out of the squad and for that reason...

Nailed it. Something weird with Spurs, because presumably, all those expensive players that we buy, couldn't have been as crap as they are now, before they joined us.

Frank is an average manager who can meet expectations of an average football club. That was never enough to get him the Spurs job.

Posted some defensive stats that are certainly not encouraging. We're currently "only" 9th in goals conceded, and those numbers and trends together indicate that the worst is yet to come.

If you couldn't care less about those nerds and their numbers, you can simply focus on us conceding 20 in the last 12 league games after starting the season with 1 in 4. Don't know about you, but I know which sample I will be relying on in terms of anticipating the future trends in that department.

And I haven't mentioned how much we've been overachieving on the attacking end as a team, and what would happen if / when we came down to earth the way early overachievers usually do before a league season ends.

Sigh

No discernible footprint to date, nothing progressive, and nothing that provides hope.

If fans feel it, and I doubt I think alone, then the players must also sense it.

And effectively banishing some players and to be on the run we are on is retrograde.

Maybe this is why United and filth club only went so far as speaking to Frank.

The players are the ones who can’t control and pass a ball to a team mate or create chances and look like scoring. They are a massive problem. I want Frank gone because I think the club is too big for him and in 26 games I’ve seen virtually fuck all that shows me it will get better. 26 games is a lot of football to see zero progression. It’s worse than last season in every way but some still want to continue with him. Makes no sense.

It's no better that is for sure. Not worse.....yet.

I think we're kind of talking about the same thing really.

The manager isnt getting into the players, doesnt have them onside, hasnt convinced them his is the right way...

And to be honest, while I dont advocate players protesting or downing tools (Im not sure they are) - Im more on their side than his in this case
Well for whatever reason it seems like the players have taken some sort of sedative, can barely put a decent passage of passes together, and the long balls are awful. I'm not against using long balls sometimes to make the play less predictable but these ones recently are wayward and to nobody in particular.

It's as if the players are in some sort of hypnotic state which is anti-football. If Frank is actually coaching this and they're doing it as per his instructions then he needs to be sacked immediately.
