It's getting long in the tooth listening to him continously saying 'Yes it was a poor performance'. He did it today about Forest, what about Bournemouth? Woolwich, Chelsea, Fulham, Wolves etc?

I maintain that he lost me after those two London derby defeats. It wasn't that we lost, it was that we went down without laying a glove on them.

It was as pathetic a performance as anything I can remember seeing.

I guess someone could make a case that when fans turn on a manager, they start nit picking at everything, but some of the shit he says is pathetic.

I don't dislike the guy at all, he's a nice bloke, but he's coming across like the job is too big for him and his PR is awful. On top of that all the on pitch stuff with weird subs, rotation, not knowing his best side, and backing senior players who continously let us down but singling out teenagers for a mistake that wasn't their fault and it doesn't sit right with me,

Thomas Frank is a prick.

His football is shite.

He's insulted the THFC supporters and the results and performances are terrible.

Already sacked in my opinion.

He's an agency temp running a closing down sale.

I don't think he's a prick, I just think he isn't good enough/ he's fucking things up and I agree the football is shit.

For me, Ange was a prick.

Then again, my opinion on Frank could change if things get even worse and he starts mugging off the away fans after a game. lol.

I think pretty much all the supporters are questioning the head coach, it's not just 10%.

I doubt there's even one poster on this forum that isn't concerned about him enough to question if he's the right man for the job. Frank is basically trying to shut up the supporters by deeming us a disloyal minority of short sighted idiots, and dismissing us as a mere 10%.

Ange and Thomas Frank are both pricks.

Perhaps we need a seperate thread on which one of them is the biggest prick and why?

However; the biggest prick of all hired them both.

I like to tell you he is pretty much a bottom half of the table manager best finish is 9th, He finished 10th last year and before that 16th. On top of that their has be very little difference in results for Brentford since he left.
point taken. The debate though here is, if he is given the high profile type of players, would he be successful and win trophies?

I don't know personally. what I know (this is pointed at ENIC) is, if you decide to overhaul the club hierarchy and "finally" pay attention to the on-field product and win EPL and CL, that is not only changing guards at the club management, and buying players. It also includes getting a proven WINNER to make sure the team rises to his level instead of him trying to reach that level on our time and expense.

Honestly Frank is sounding like an idiot.

Backing Vicario who made a fucking horrendous mistake the other week, saying it was just one of those things. and hanging Archie out to dry saying it was a one touch pass when it's quite clearly been shown that Vicario's bobbled pass to Gray's left foot meant he couldn't play it first time

Frank really is not endearing himself to the fans with shit like this.

I couldn't stand Poch and Conte pressers. But can't believe that Frank could sound worse. If the transcribes already looked so poor, hearing him saying it with those errmms and arrhhs will be terribly shit.

Posted some defensive stats that are certainly not encouraging. We're currently "only" 9th in goals conceded, and those numbers and trends together indicate that the worst is yet to come.

If you couldn't care less about those nerds and their numbers, you can simply focus on us conceding 20 in the last 12 league games after starting the season with 1 in 4. Don't know about you, but I know which sample I will be relying on in terms of anticipating the future trends in that department.

And I haven't mentioned how much we've been overachieving on the attacking end as a team, and what would happen if / when we came down to earth the way early overachievers usually do before a league season ends.

Sigh
It's absolutely fine (and right) to scrutinise Frank after the first few.
In exactly the same way as it's right to rip Ange apart after the first 10.

Frank just isn’t a Spurs manager - it’s a bad fit, he lacks the minerals, charisma and footballing style to manage us.

No point doing anything now though, but I’d ditch him in the summer and go and get Iraola

Yeah that run is always brushed over by the Ange defenders cos our underlying numbers were pretty good at the start of the following season and we battered a few teams. We looked so deeply naive and soft-centred in every one of those games against the top teams at the end of 23-24. After the Newcastle beating there was just this inevitability that we were going to be destroyed in all the others (well, except the title-deciding City game ironically where we did show up). And the scorelines were largely kind to us, tbh. Really felt like those teams had us completely figured out.

And even during that promising run at the start of 24-25 when we had a largely fit squad I distinctly remember looking at our fixture list after the Ipswich game and thinking "I'm not sure where the next win is coming from". It really felt like we could lose to anyone and the whole project was a house of cards that could come crashing down at any moment as the fixtures piled up and Ange kept running the squad into the ground.

Ironically we then smashed City 4-0 but following that it was 1 win in 10 and we completely imploded.
What promising run in 24/25?

lol we need to be patient and put up with shit football is what I’m getting from him whilst he sorts things out.

You watch (most) other managers impart their ideas and style pretty quickly. Why does he deserve a free pass whilst we have shite on display?

Whilst he gaslights us by saying many of the performances have been good or great. Lmao.
