I'm sorry there's never enough context to explain this away. It normalised losing and I hate the repeated attempts to explain this away.

It was disgusting.

We were 15th when he gave up on the league.
Safe from relegation.

Adapting to his situation.
Playing a form of conteball.
Throwing his football morals out the window.

We helped create an AngeBall 2.0

When desperate times call for desperate measures it creates desperate men.
He won his trophy. The gamble paid off for him.

I absolutely agree 100%.

Levy had a duty to act when the results and performances went South around October 2024.

That was the moment to arrest the slump.

I have a feeling Levy probably approached Frank during this period and Frank told him he would not come until the end of the season to help Brentford.

We should have just gone after Iraola at that point.

It would have cost more to hire Iraola at that point but the damage caused by waiting for Frank will now cost more to put right.

In my opinion.

Wouldn't have won a trophy though so there's that 🤷‍♂️

Winning is a habit, and so is losing. We've spent so much time accepting it that it's going to be a hard habit to break. It does appear Frank may not be the man capable of breaking this habit too, but let's be clear the habit was ingrained under Ange

Not only is Frank not capable of breaking the habit of losing he is contributing to the malaise and plummeting morale with his crass observations on the THFC supporters and verbally expressing a belief that we will continue to lose games.

He's a bell end.

Fucking clueless on how to run a club the size of THFC.

Levy has left Arkwright and Granville in charge of Tesco.

ENIC; please make it end.

Bournemouth have taken 3pts from the last six league games
Don't think he would have fared any better than Frank has this season
The problem imo is a variety of average to poor players in this squad
We're just mid table at best
Whoever comes in next needs substantial backing from the board
Is that gonna happen, your guess is as good as mine

You're right it should be, which is why Frank probably isn't the man for the job. But the answers to our woes aren't to get misty eyed about the guy who either didn't care about or actively encouraged losing week in week out.

Ange would have had a very different second season with CL football.
He had a relatively easier intro in his first season with no European football at all.

Comparing the two doesn’t really work.

And Frank has been thrown in to the deep end. He is doing a decent job of not drowning is probably the best thing I can say about his appointment so far.

All that with the next Ballon D'or winner and the greatest manager since the last great manager!

That's Bournemouth however, and a race to the bottom, if we start using that kind of metric.

I'll be quite surprised if we haven't already sounded out a couole of managerial options.

Frank is beginning to wither and nothing looks promising, both in his demeanour, his look and some of his comments.

Today might just be the end.

The ONLY thing that matters is the state of the club and if there is no togetherness, and not enough respect for the manager (from their players and especially the key players, it can't be sustained.

And the worst thing, after the Forest debacle is that even if we somehow scraped anything from today, I dont think it means a jot for the next game.

I have little to no confidence that Frank can create consistency, which is mostly his failings, but also that he hasn't taken all the players with him.

We were 6th in November 2024 and 4 points off 2nd place in the table.

You don't need a crystal ball to see into a timeline where you, as one of the most feverant anti-Levy posters on here, would try and hang him for sacking a manager for that

But Spurs had already lost to Brighton 3-2, having been 2-0 up and Palace 1-0 at this point.

The home defeat to Ipswich came on November 10th and we then drew with Fulham and lost to Bournemouth and Chelsea.

Ange was done by mid December and the consensus was pretty much that he needed to go by that point.

Like this season it was the manner of the defeats as well as the results.

This was of course after the end of the previous season where Spurs failed to finish 4th.

But of course;

You & Shady knew all that already.

Frank mentioned in the media that, the players he feels are with him.
I'm not sure they are, let's see how they react today.
I can't see anything other than an away win, which is the most common result at our stadium.
