If there weren't injuries (that he was at least partly at fault for) then I think it would have happened.

There was always a someone plausible excuse each time for ange. But he's shown he can challenge with this team, but the football is good, but injuries, but second season cup mate, but league cup, but we beat liverpool in the first leg, but Levy, but given him another £300m...

100%. He was able to hide behind the injuries for so so long, there was always an excuse as you say that for some, were valid.

Going from a keeper who is relatively okay at playing out the back to keeper(s) who are bad at playing out the back generally means you'll create less and conceding more chances because yoi aren't keeping the ball.

People gushed over Kinsky's ball-playing though (some still do).... Whilst many claim Vic is a shit panic merchant when playing out.

....The original notion I responded to claiming Vic's injury was why our X figs shat the bed last year.

But Forster played more league games than Kinksy last season. He was a calamity with the ball at his feet.

By the time Kinsky came in, we were playing a makeshift squad. He is excellent with the ball at his feet, which is why I was questioning the relevancy of it.

I think Vicario must have awarded the opposition quite a bit of xG this season with his 'footwork'

Purely from memory, and happy for someone to find the right stats... But didn't Ange have like a 70+ % win rate whenever we had both Romero and VDV in lineup?

Surprised so many seem to be tolerating Frank considering the treatment Ange got?

I don't think this defeat is down to Frank, but I don't want him around anymore, I want a fucking ruthless bastard as manager, I want the players to half fear him which would instil some fight in them.
If we could even see what kind of team he is trying to build it would be something. It's like he is flipping through a training manual and trying something new every week on the off chance it works.

I'd sack him for that game.

A struggling club with fragile confidence turns up at our ground and we let them play around, find their feet and take a 2 goal lead. Then we attack when it's too late and despite them utterly crumbling we don't have enough time.

Had we gone for their throats from the off, we easily win that game

Our manager is too nice, soft and weak. If he stays we are 100% going to get dragged down into a relegation battle. I would never have thought it possible but with this manager and these players we are on the way to even lower depths of despair that we are in now. Tonight was a disaster and some might try cover the cracks with the fight and we still nearly got a draw but I’m not having it. Add in the suspensions now and Palace away will be the end. Can everyone look at the table and our performances and find one reason why we should continue with Frank. There is not one reason to justify keeping him.
