I’d say it is. I’d hope he’d work more miracles than he has. But such is reality and we’re not a very good team, lack leadership, etc. The only reason to pull the plug early is because you truly believe there’s a significant upgrade out there. And yes, pulling the plug at half a season is pulling very early, especially on a team that finished 17th, has major players out, and frankly is just not that great. I think if you’re gonna run a club that way, we will never be any good. There’s lots of ups and downs throughout a season so he definitely deserves at least one full one.
Yeah you may well be right mate. Nothing is easy I guess but I’m just not seeing anything to convince me he should stay. But then we live in an “instant” world now and maybe some patience is needed. Bloody hard though when you see the shit we dish out on a weekly basis.

Yes, but the XG average in his 5 PL matches was 1.48. (footystats.org)
ARS - NF (3-0) 0.65
BUR - NF (1-1) 2.13
NF -SUN (0-1) 2.48
NEW - NF (2-0) .87
NF - CHE (0-3) 1.29
Having lost his best defender and last season's top scorer mising sitters played a role.
Ange just needs a dependable 5-men back line. When he had it his results were top-4 at least.

The fact we're even having the conversation of wether relegation is feasible is an absolutely damning indictment of what this football club has become.

9th richest football club in the world......and relegation from our own domestic league is on the agenda.....after our worst domestic season in like 100 years regarding defeats.

But kids go free on the skywalk this Christmas 🎅

The only people talking about it this season are the melts on here. Nothing to do with this "football club".

One thing it does have a lot to do with is that aussie cunt that normalised it that people are still fawning over to this very page. Baffling.

One bottom half finish in 20 years, top 6 finishes in 8 out of 10 seasons before he arrived, and people still believe he was somehow going to be getting top 4 or winning the league after leading us to 17th. Absolutely brain dead

Is it time to just accept we are shit and play the youth every week? This was what Poch did after his poor start and turned everything around. All of a sudden we were building foundations and had some positivity to work off.

Gray, Bergvall, Odobert Tel. Are any of them good enough to start for even 5 other teams in the league? Probably not. But should we just blood them in and hope they grow? I don't see us getting relegated so its probably worth sacrificing short term results to try and get some of these young players up to premier league level. There is zero positivity right now. Absolutely zero. The only way I could see us turning this season into a very small positive is if some of these young players really step up and announce themselves. Atleast then by the summer, we might actually have something to build on!And if they don't step up at all and look rubbish then we can just give up on them completely and do another squad overhaul in the summer! But atleast we gave them a proper chance!

Either way Frank just ain't the man. He hasn't got the bollix to do a rebuild and back the youth (Poch) and he also hasn't the aura to manage top players and motivate them (Conte, Mourinho, even fucking Ange!). He's just a rabbit caught in the headlights and the sooner the club part ways with him the better.

Trix on SC is confirming that Frank was indeed Lange's first choice pick.

I really think the club need to sack both Danes. Lange has been a fucking disaster.

How do you appoint a manager like this who simply doesn't understand the indentity of the club?

Lange pushed for Tel too remember. And Odobert. Fuck sake.

They worked together in Denmark and are friends so it was always likely he was all over it. Pretty easy to see Frank being sacked between now and May and Lange leaving in the summer. Its why i hope we dont panic buy in January. Dont want more squad clutter. Sell as many as we can and either bring back some loanees or promote some youth. Seasons a write off anyway.

Agree, I'd rather keep our powder dry and just clear the lot out.

Lange's recruitment has been shocking. He cannot be trusted to be overseeing our manager and player recruitment, he's a gimp.

The last 2 managers in particular, have not been up to the task.

Sweep aside the Europa under the broaden context and it seems very clear.

We need a strong manager with a philosophy of attacking but pragmatic football as their fingerprint.

The club need to define what they want and only bite when they believe they have found that person.

Is he though? He was promoted to the senior assistant coach on 25 June 2024. He reverted from senior assistant to assistant in July 2025 which means he is not accountable for any of this seasons mess... Suggest you do your homework before piling in.
Hes been an assistant since Postecoglou and was in charge.

So since summer of 2023. Suggest you do your homework.

Matt Wells was in charge of defensive work.

Chris Davies the attacking work. Now manager of Birmingham.

Spurs coach lifts lid on clever Postecoglou training trick to get what he wants

There's plenty more quotes online.

Yes there is... they point to him having no responsibility of defensive duties since Frank arrived. Suggest you do some more homework rather than spouting gospel from an article that is over 18 months old.
