Unless we're going to go for a top manager and throw a shit ton of money at the squad, it feels like sacking Frank will be just like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

There needs to be a cohesive plan going forward rather than just bumbling along with shite managers and the occasional good manager who gets fucked off because we won't invest the money needed to create a winning squad.

This is it unless we get lucky with another Kane from nowhere.
Yeah we are pretty fucked I fear.

Could be a decade before we can break into the top 5 again. Things can change quickly, but the club look clueless and I can’t see it in the next 2 seasons. Thank you Dan Levy

The number of times we passed back to keeper from the halfway line was just getting embarrassing in that match.
91st min, throw for Tottenham on the halfway line: Porro automatically throws it backwards to Bentancur, who then passes it all the way back to Romero.

92nd minute, throw for Tottenham deep in Sunderland's half: foul throw by Bergvall whilst trying to launch it into the box.

93rd minute, Sunderland throw into our half: they play it short and towards our goal.

One manager who dares. One manager who scares.

Without watching the game (because I really didn't want to)

It sounds like we created quite a few chances first half

That would have really upset and annoyed Thomas but to his credit it sounds like he gave the lads a dressing down at half time and fixed things for the second half

Those are players doing things. Granted, Frank keeps playing them but it’s not like he’s overflowing with options.

I feel sorry for frank. We've lost our two best attackers in the last 3 years and his three best front players have all been injured since the start of the season. Replaced with uninspiring signings. Sure another manager might have us 1-2 places higher but some of you need to get a grip if you think these players are good enough to turn up week in week out.
hes been dealt a shit hand no doubt about it! hes made mistakes imo, i think keep playing bentancur has killed him, it sets the midfield up to be negative from the off, would be better off with palhinha and the two kids either side, its not great but its better than anything with bentancur in it.

even with a slight improvement on the midfield, he still has a dog shit forward line no matter what, and a street rat like spence stinking in the changing room.

we need a serious window this window, doesnt matter who the manager is, we need better footballers brought through the door.

His coward approach cost us the game, when he brought on two CM's.
Whats the point of having LWB on the bench, if you're not going to bring him on, when attackers have to come off.

What you have to understand is his brain has been broken.

And nothing can fix it.

It's on the setting: AnGe.

And it's stuck there forever.

A few like that on here, who every other post will reply in the same way and accuse of other people of bringing it up

He did indeed, he informed tbe team not to cross the half way line ( which they did a couple of times), luckily nothing came of it, because our strikers are fucking useless.
He then continued with his normal plan of, conceding possession and allow the opponent to grow into the game.
This tactical flexibility allowed the club to continue with where possible not winning any home games.

I genuinely think for all intents and purposes Frank is now just a caretaker manager until the end of the season.

We will finish anywhere between 17th and 10th and that will be that.

I'd be stunned if the board decide to go again with him next season, particularly if the football stays as turgid as it is now.

Absolutely tragic scenes. All those hounding Ange out have a lot to answer for right about now. We've hired a negative, weak, yes man playing football worse than I've ever seen.

Talk of Kane potentially coming back end of the season long dead. More rumours developing daily around VDV looking for pastures new ( whilst still highly talking about Ange )

Similar to those Wet Spam cunts. We've got a lot to answer for.
Ange for all his faults and there we're many did it his way and the dared and done the Spurs way. This is what I dreaded that Thomas Frank would do ok. This is ok mid table safe nonsense, get it in the box hope for the best. He simply doesn't know how to attack with fluidity. Give him a transfer window and a couple of players he likes and we will rise up the table a bit and do ok. But he isn't a winner and when he's gone we are stuck with ok players he brought in. If Brennan does well at Palace ill be livid.

Completely agree.

Not sure who can be got right now that has the potential of getting us back to a team that competes closer to the top?

I dont want poch back, guys been in semi retirement since hoovering up a few pots at psg, the hunger he had as a younger manager has probably long gone

If alonso doesn't work out at Madrid id probably choose him tbh.

Playing devil's advocate here but:
1. Any manager would struggle with these players
2. Nobody decent will want the job so we might end up with another Stellini debacle
3. I am interested to see how he does with creative players at his disposal. We have zero creativity right now.
Somehow I feel Thiago Motta would do better. Did so well at Bologna (ask Calafiori). Juve never gave him the time...friggin weird club. He was a right prick when he played and I'd trust him to sort someone like Romero out in no time. He would take no shit from refs/PGMOL either, he'd be in their faces a la Arteta, Klopp...

Xavi, Zidane...they've forgotten more about attacking football than Frank would ever know even if he lived til 460yo. Both nice, classy blokes and not mad like Motta, but they'd still have the bollocks to drop supposed big names. Also if you're playing for another club and Spurs approached you, you'd jump at the chance of playing for Xavi or Zizou. Refs and the powers that be at the league would also be nice to them, even if they managed Spurs, cause their presence and aura would be a wonderful USP for the PL.

Yeah the squad is still shit, but get a proper jeffe in and see how they manage to get a much better tune out of them.

The players may not be good enough but Frank has shown nothing to say that he should be trusted in developing the squad.

Kicking it long into nowhere is not the peak performance of this team. Sorry.
