Yeah yeah sorry but it's a load of bollocks mate. Trophies are not everything, not when it isn't backed up by consistent excellence. They are winning every week, have one of the best teams in the world, and the reality is they will win trophies if they contine as they are. Who do genuinely think are the happier fan base? us because we won the Europe League in May? or Woolwich fans?

It's easy to say Arteta has spent a billion, yes he's been backed like crazy but he still needs to put together a very good side and he has. He's an absolute moron but he's a fantastic coach, that is plain to see. He gets the best out of all his players.

Maybe I speak for myself but I want us to be in Woolwich's position, fuck being 17th and winning the Europa. Give me top of the league at Xmas, and a realistic chance of going for the league and CL.

Our fanbase is as unhappy as it's ever been, winning a trophy in May didn't really do much to change that did it.

I agree with all that but not to fcuking the Europa. A beautiful night but after the glow, the 17th placed position was painful.

Consistency of excellence is absolutely what it's about, and sone of the derisory comments about who they harbour are disgusting, and as if we would not do the same.

Either way, I just want this club to do better and that means the right manager, decent investment in players which we already have, (but better choices), and then to see something that resembles patterns of play, designed on the training pitch and not sone statistical dog sh!t.

I think Ange, Frank and AVB had the worst squads, which fits my narrative, that AVB was way better at coaching than he was given credit for, nicely.

AVB had two big issues - his play was "boring" (apart from Bale who followed no rules) and, more importantly, Kane was not ready to explode on the football landscape yet.

Urgh... View From the Lane have just had a segment where they talked about all the Frank mannerisms that annoy them - like chewing gum and looking at Ipads etc...

This is just nasty stuff that happens every time a manager struggles. Totally unnecessary imo.

The gum chewing just looks like stress thing to me, he's probably in super flight or fight mode on the sidelines, I cant say I care about that (loads of managers do it)

Same as the ipad, I mean, who cares? Some managers have a pen and paper, some have conference with their assistants, some like a white board (another Frank one) - if it helps him do the job then so what?

Seems like silly things to hold against someone*

I dont want Frank as manager, Id be fully FRANK OUT if the fanbase was divided on those lines, but I dont think the personal attacks do anyone any good.

I think there are plenty of reasons to want him out, lot of valid criticism, but I dont think hes a bad guy - I dont hate him - I dont see the need to be cruel like that.

*That picture of Amorim sitting on his bench, looking completely lost, desperately shuffling things round on the white board thing? I think that was him done - what a sad image

I do think though if Poch had a billion pounds to spend on the squad and had a better eye for a player then we would have won it all, we had a great starting 11, one of the best in the league but the squad was poor, thats the difference with the Gooners now, they have a squad full of good players, Poch never had that kind of Luxury!

I agree with that. Absolutely. Levy let us all down. Arteta has been backed to the hilt.

AVB had two big issues - his play was "boring" (apart from Bale who followed no rules) and, more importantly, Kane was ready to explode on the football landscape yet.

It was AVB who maximised Bale by making him and inverted right forward full time (Redknapp played him there once but the crowd sung “ he plays on the left” so Redknapp did what they told him and put him back to left wing).

Boring very subjective. I was personally far less bored and disengaged by AVB’s football - which proved you can have a fairly shit squad and still actually play possession based football- then I have been by Mourinho, Conte, Nunez & Frank’s insipid shite.

Just write off this season. We won't be decisive and move him on now and we will achieve fuck all with him here but we won't get relegated.

He'll be gone in the summer. Maybe we get the next one right.

I've already missed a few games this season and will miss more in this second half.

There is no fun involved in Spurs right now so may aswell tune out until there is.

Nah not yet at all. If the injured players come back we have to wait and see. If we actually buy any problems we have to wait and see. It’s another reason why he won’t be sacked yet.

What a pointless table.

Shall we get one of ‘cleared headers that might have been goals’. Seems barmy - ‘table of players who might have scored if they were onside when they were offside’.

A table of ifs and buts. We should be pretty impressed that our players are where they are considering we get no chances.
I dont think its pointless, I think like most of these things it tells a story, or part of a story

We are the worst team in the league in terms of playing throughballs, it evidences our complete lack of interest in playing football on the ground.

It should come as no surprise the teams at the top of that table, vs the bottom*

And to be at the bottom, for a Spurs team, is not a good look imo

*little surprised to see Brighton there, although its a while since Ive watch them to be fair

Frank has some responsibility but it's not a pure Frank problem. How is Richarlison going to get on the end of through balls? He can't even outpace center backs. Kudus basically plays midfield and is never positioned at the opponents back line. Johnson was basically our only threat in behind. Odobert maybe but he's not faster than most outside backs. Tel and RKM can be threats in behind if they are at CF against center backs but are not fast enough to be able to outpace outside backs.

Then that brings us to problem #2. Who is going to play the through pass? Bergvall, Porro, Romero, Simons? Certainly not any of our midfielders. And that is a big problem.

We lack both the pace and the passers. It's fucking dire, from manager to squad.

Any of those points 🤣

You spouted nonsense over the last couple of pages.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

See making shit up again, I don't give a fuck if you don't like Frank..

All anyone has said, was that it was way to early to make a call one way or another (that whether he'll be a good manager or a bad manager, for your simple little brain), coz 7 weeks into a season not enough time to make a judgement.

The squad is shit and needs addressing, and give him a window or two and see what happens then.

That's it... And you have repeatedly misrepresented what people have been saying regarding this.

Once again, these points don't mean I or other people a for or against Frank and there is plenty to criticise about him at the moment.

And the horrible puss filled toxic scrotum that is you, just keep on claiming that people like me defending Frank, and we are not.

I have lost and Uncle and the mum of a close friend over Christmas, and a few days in the new year I have a horrible little lying cunt like you talking BS like this.

What's weird is the fact that you constantly have to make BS like this, when some disagrees with you.

Why don't you just fuck off and debate with lumps of shit in a bucket, coz that's more your level.
I also lost a grandfather and had to travel back to the UK twice in a week from the west coast, which is why I wasn't on so much. And I get horrific abuse from you all the time, so it's fine for you?

You said you'd repeatedly told me you were the on the fence about Frank, now saying I'm a liar for saying otherwise. So show me one of these many instances, couldn't be that hard.

Or you could apologize for being such a wanker over the last couple of months and I'll gladly put this behind us and move on.

Make no mistake, you are the issue here matey. You constantly embarrass yourself with how you talk to people and conduct yourself. All indod was point out that he was obviously a bad fit, everything I said about him has been correct, and you've given me dogs abuse about it. Go and read some posts back. Instwad of looking for pity here.

Cunt off brewing.

Seriously warming up to insane idea taking Mason back. I don't care about the optics.

At least he gets us. At least he knows what it means to be Spurs.

Are we really thinking he could be worse?

Do we really think the players really want to and enjoy playing this turgid football?
