Said it before we built a squad for Pochettino or Iraola. Lots of young rough diamonds that need coaching and structure. We then hired Frank

There is no alignment between the players we buy and the managers we hire.
 
I think we can put to bed the whole "no manager can get more out of this squad" "our players are just shit" "it's impossible for anyone to get these players playing good football" narratives

Second half shows, there are gears/levels not being tapped into here

And it's no surprise the biggest difference is in approach, aggressive, positive, high tempo...

Best 45 of the season, I suspect when he's just said "fuck it go kamikaze (by Frank standards)

As much as I enjoyed that half, it's actually winding me up what on earth has he been doing all season?

Imagine the shape we'd be in now if we started the season like this and spent 30 games tuning it?
