Apparently 18-20 million pay off if sacked maybe that's why they are holding back. But it's a matter of time really. I'm not sure who would even run the first team if they did for a temporary basis

If he doesn’t beat West Ham at home he will be fired as the crowd will be very toxic

This is very true and understandable.

However I think it's equally fair to say if he gets wins against Spasm and Burnley and a draw against Dortmund that would perhaps show signs of things turning for the better?

Maybe a forlorn hope i admit

I'm the same mate. I haven't pencilled in watching Spurs for a while now, in fact i feel better just getting the scores and a vague idea of how we played from my other Spurs mates.

from 2014-2020 I didn't miss a game, not one game.

It's the hope that kills you.
I’m not at the stage of not watching but going is a chore. I’ve seen me not going to family events and missing out on a lot of things for the game to finish and think “why am I doing this?”

Even when I’m watching the game and we don’t win the mrs gives me an hour to come back to life because it wrecks me. It’s not healthy supporting Tottenham.

I thought after Bilbao which was the best 4 days I’ll ever have supporting us we were on the up but it has been the biggest false dawn ever.

We are a faithful lot but this club is testing the patience of so many right now.

They don't have to pay that in one go. He will go on gardening leave and get paid weekly until he gets a new job and then we stop paying him. If he doesn't find new employment between now and the end of his contract then we will be on hook for the full amount but I suspect someone will pick him up.

After the second half display and results recently they'll be convincing themselves they won't need to change. Unless we get less than 4 points in next 2 league games he'll be here in Feb. I can't see how he can possibly last until March given the fixtures in Feb but I've made peace with fact he's here until then

Not sure about that.

He looks utterly broken. I mean he's negative anyway, how's he going to lift the players for the next few games now?

He probably gets West Ham. But fail to win that he will absolutely be sacked.

It's going to happen anyway. He'll not be here next season.

All about an exit strategy and timing.

I think its more than what, its how

Those results + positive, front foot fooball = maybe theres hope

Those results + the shite weve been served all year = no chance people are ok with it

Fuck that
Fuck him
Fuck everything 😆

If there's any truth at all I still don't see him lasting the season

Fully back but the longevity of the backing remains unclear

Banter club

Say Frank is sacked tomorrow and we appoint a """longterm""" replacement like Xavi or Terzic. Maybe they get us playing better, maybe they don't. But if they dont - which is highly likely given the terrible state of the squad - the same people calling for Frank to be sacked will be calling for Xavi/Terzic to be sacked in October. Then the cycle just repeats itself

Terzic yes but Xavi no

Xavi would have a lot of goodwill because of his history in the game and the way he will have us play. As long as he is backed to bring in his style of players, they don't have to be expensive just be able to play to his tactics then the fans will be patient imo.

Unpopular opinion: if he keeps playing the youth, I would keep Frank until the summer.

We won’t find a long term replacement now and an interim manager is always hell on earth. Players don’t respect them and we’re in limbo. Best we ever had was Tim fucking Sherwood.

There will be more options.

If he freezes out the young talent we have then sack him. Need something that will persist beyond the end of this miserable season.

Same here... I'm not sure what the threshold is anymore... I did think Forest/Bin Dippers was the point of no return then he scrimps 3 points at Palace... then I thought maybe Sunderland/Bournemouth but he just seems immune to the sack. I'm so desperate to get our club back I'd probably stomach relegation if it led to ENIC fucking off and getting a smaller return. Crazy how I've reached a point that I'd contemplate serious harm being done to the club.
As things stand at the moment, we are 6 points off 5th place Brentford and the European Cup places and we are 13 points off Spammers and relegation places. Guarantee you, if we pick up 6 points against Spammers and Burnley, or even 4, guarantee you narrative will be, we are in the hunt for Top 5, would be made to make a managerial change.

Yeah tbh i dont care anymore havent done for a while and now knowing hes here and we are not showing ambition then all i can say is whats the point

Frank is up there with nuno for me mentally drained me out of watching

FA Cup 4th round fixtures are 14th/15th Feb. Obviously we are out and we have Newcastle at home Tuesday 10th and Woolwich home 22nd Feb. Great opportunity to sack him after the Newcastle game and you have 10 days for a new manager to prepare the side for a fucking battle knowing the atmosphere will be electric. It's a no lose situation. If Frank's in charge of that game it will be a poor atmosphere but a new manager will get that bounce. Come on Spurs, do it now or no later than 11th Feb.

Put your pants out after you've cleaned the shit out of your eyes....I said 'If we beat' Spam he won't be sacked which you have deliberately omitted to further your fallacious assertions. Apart from not being very kosher you failed to understand I was responding to another poster's question of whether or not the incumbent should or would get the bullet.

We're all anticipating an imminent announcement, if that doesn't happen before the next game then the Board (for whatever reason) must be waiting for the Spam result before they pull the trigger or hold fire otherwise why would they not do it before?
