I wasn't going to say anything (thinking the moment had gone), but now it seems potentially relevant: in their attack just before their goal, we had a player deep in their half walking slowly back towards our half. He was on his own, all their players were much nearer to our goal than he was. I could have sworn it was Romero, but couldn't go back to check as can't do that on streams. A few seconds later, the camera behind our goal shows the melee around our 6 yard box, and I swear Romero wasn't there. Was it him in their half? Was he a bit injured or just pissed off and given up (which would be weird at 1-1)? Did anyone else notice the same? Or was I just mistaken?
It was him. He landed on his back after that bicycle kick a few seconds earlier.

I think we'll hear tonight. Latest tomorrow morning. They'll want someone working with the players getting ready for Tuesday. This won't drag on until Monday.

I don't rate Frank at all. We are getting progressively worse under him and he's like a rabbit in headlights. He's so far out of his depth it's unreal. The irony of Nuno coming to our stadium to beat him sums it up. Atleast when these results were happening under Ange, they were usually sandwiched in between cup or European games where we were showing up and winning with a stronger team. This current run is inexcusable.

But..... I'm trying to think logically and out myself in the spurs owners shoes. What does sacking him in January really achieve bar some short term relief? The season is a total right off. We can probably finish 9th or 10th in the league at best and I can't see us finishing below 17th. So all the league games are basically dead rubbers now. We realistically can't win the CL and imagine we'll need alot of luck with the draw to stay in it as far as March. Then there is nothing else for us to play for. So the logic from the owners is what's the panic? The season is done. There's no point rushing into a new manager. I reckon they'll start interviewing now with the idea of someone coming in for June. And they'll give Frank these few months to potentially pull off a miracle.

I think they'll have to bring back Poch now. I don't think they've a choice. The fans (including myself) are slowly starting to hate everything about the football club. We've lost our identity. We've lose everything we ever stood for. We don't dare. We don't do. We don't attack. We don't know who we are. It's shit. I'm preference would be to sack him and have someone like Harry redknapp/ Robbie keane/ ledly king/ Ryan Mason finish out the season and restore some pride before moving for poch. But imagine the owners will just let Frank finish out a shit season.

The Northcroft Times article is the only thing we have to go on so far and it's not exactly concrete but it's certainly better than Twitter ITK.

Especially as it's coined as an exclusive. That means there should be some substantial info behind it, it's not an opinion piece.

Matt Law's article when it comes will probably be a good indicator about what is happening.

Ideally we get an Ornstein tweet this evening.

It doesn't matter. Anything is better than Frank at this point.

Genuinely, get one of the fans in there to manage, how could it be worse?

He's lost the players and the fans, that's why - no way back for him so no point keeping him.

Assuming Frank is sacked sooner rather than later, the next guy is going to have to be a real magician to get some quality football out of what's left of the squad i.e. fit enough to play.

Whomever comes in could be on a hiding to nothing, so maybe they'll stick with Frank until they have some decent players. Who knows?!?!?

Over-thinking mate.

It won't be Pochettino.
