But where was this all season? The damage has been done! Plus its far more likely that the players are just ignoring Frank at this stage and doing their own thing. Or that Heitinga is calling the shots. Or that Frank has been told to attack and stop the pragmatic stuff and he's reluctantly doing that. Either way we've seen an improvement the past 2 games and seen a totally different approach which is refreshing.

But Frank clearly isn't the man. Even though he's coached the last 2 games, it's clear that this isn't and hasn't been his philosophy all season so we may aswell get a manager in who can coach this type of football weekly.

Whatever way you spin this, and I appreciate you trying to be positive. These last two league performance have been a disgrace. There's nothing positive to take.
 
Its crazy that we're still only 8 points off 4th at this point. If the board had made a change a few games a go we could have been nearer. Now with our hard run coming up were truly fucked.

Even Frank is doing OK in Europe. And we're in the CL, not fucking EL. So much was Ange's title worth, btw. Anyone can win in Europe with an English side. Just too much invested in the squads.

Frank has really had enough time. Can't sort out the obvious in defence. 80% of our goals come through on player. But Frank can't spot it. Really, that must be sackable.

We have Fulham away (almost always a loss)

Dippers away (almost always a loss)

Forest at home when they dicked us away. We also have Palace at home. Struggling to see where we get more than 5 points from our next 8 games.
 
Anyone at the game? From watching the Chris cowlin clips on Twitter the frank out songs only seemed to be sung by a relatively small section of the away fans, was that the case? Even the clips at the end when Frank had gone over to the fans it seemed like only a small minority where singing getting sacked in morning etc
Just wondering if it was actually like that

I don't expect we'd get anyone decent as caretaker. Someone mention Sherwood the other day FFS.

I would imagine Alonso has privately declined our interest.

I want to move on from Frank, but I'm not sure in the immediate term what options we have.

Just let Heitinga have it for now. The players clearly dislike Frank as do the fans, chucking him out will at least clear the air.

The only reason Frank still has a job is because the executives at the club want to avoid embarrassment. Sacking a manager that they appointed after such a "thorough process" will put their own competence under intense scrutiny.
 
By MW 25 last year Ange had 30 points and we were 12th. Just think about that. 😅

We probably wont win our next two and Ange will therefore have more points at the same point.

If he was a Levy hire they would have easily have sacked him by now, they have multiple get outs. They could say he was a Levy hire and sack him. They could sack him for 2 wins in 15 games. The performances etc

But no, they've kept him, which says it all about who was behind hiring him.
