Oh fuck off with this shit.

Cos I supported Ange, I deserve this crap served up to me every match day?

Nonsense and pathetic.
Its the same level zero fucking change from what I see, deserve...meh. Its just feels, in some odd way Ange 'felt' better for some. Me I hated losing. Its the same shit now as then, breif periods where we compete followed by the inevitable capitulation. We've been reduced to counting shots on target as our metric of coaching success. We have made a couple of catastrophic coaching hires the ramifications will last a long time.

I've said it before. when there's a change at the top of a company, the new heads, usually come out with the same old stuff ''improved communication''......''listening and supporting'' ...... ''ways of increasing revenue'''.......

Once they've finished making those announcements everyone just goes back to whatever they were doing and either forgets about or ignores what was said.

I've begrudgingly given them the transfer window before deciding if they're just following the same old standards, which they seem to be doing, the only difference to transfer policy seemingly being that Simons joined the club on £200,000 per week.
Football clubs CANNOT run as companies. You see the outcome before your very eyes now. First and foremost they must be run as sporting institutions to maximize potential.

Eh? If you can't see that we needed more than Solanke and Gray in a summer leading into Europe and playing twice a week - and if you can't see the catastrophic effect of that transfer window still being felt today - I don't know what to tell you. 🤷‍♂️
So we'd need to have signed more players in the summer transfer window than the amount of injured players we had.

Don't you see the obvious point here? Say we signed 6 new players that summer, we'd still have been in the negative with injuries compared to the prior seasons.

We'd have done just as well with 6 fewer injuries, as Postecoglou did in his first season, no?

I also think it was a mistake to loan/sell PEH, he had a use late in matches to help defensively and had a good playing relationship with Bentancur.

So why did the team regress from his first season regarding league position and performances?

If it's about injuries then the summer transfer window can't be blamed because he would have started the 2nd season with an improved squad, no?
We played 41 games season 1. And still had a fuck ton of injuries. We played more than 60 games in his second season and you could argue that letting Hoijberg and Emerson leave, plus Son rapidly declining the squad was worse. We spent a lot of money that summer but he wasn’t properly backed, Solanke was the only senior player brought in.

I have no idea what argument you think you're having now I'm afraid...

I don't get it sorry, Ange didn't get sacked because of the fans, Frank wasn't appointed because of the fans, Frank isn't still in a job because of the fans.

What responsibility are the fans meant to take here exactly? If we were nicer to each other on TFC then Ange would still be here and running away with the league?

Now you’re asking for something!

I need to go out now so won't reply until later or tomorrow.

For example, isn't signing 6 new players the same as having 6 players that you already want in the team not being injured.

So without all those the injuries, we'd have had just as much of an adequate team, than we'd have had by having them injured but signed more players in the summer.

People need to count the squad size we had going into that season.

not if you sign any old shit to make up the numbers.

Losing pros like Hoijberg and Emerson and replacing them with kids is not the same.

Signing a 19 year old left back that’s never played at this level isn’t going to be adequate cover for Udogie’s inevitable breakdown.

Signing a limited Dragusin doesn’t fix Micky missing months with hamstring injuries.

If as reported Xavi would be interested in taking the Spurs job then why is Frank still here. No other club, Premiership or not would have let this go on. We are candidates for relegation and anyone who thinks we are not is either living in cloud cuckoo land or a member of the club board.

Agree we deserved to beat Burnley. But the subs in the second half were too late and it cost us. His lineup was wrong too. Tel on the left instead of Spence and we might be 3 up at HT. Porro rested for Spence at RB and he probably doesn’t switch off for their first goal.

You're still wrongly under the impression we played a back 4.......

We didn't.

Wrong fit

Talk all day long if people want about the odd few minutes of something promising, or whatever. Means nothing. Same as every game we play, we flit from this abd that plsyer being good, bad or awful, from future star to wasted money. It's dog sh!t analysis.

Poor decisions, poor play, reliance on set-pieces, nothing progressive.

It's not what we need and it could not really be any clearer, and if we were 10th, it would still not make it right or worth pursuing with.

Nothing us going to be won, Frank-style. Not even a manager of the month award.

It's way past boring now, and we are just beung laughed at.

Money matters, but right man at the helm matters even more.

think the board are wait for the summer to bring Poch, because they think tht will get the fans on side

IMO, my own theory, is we're going to risk it all to align ourselves with Poch in the summer.
We're not gonna do a damn thing unless we actually drop into the bottom 3, no matter how bad it gets.
If we get anyone now, Poch takes another job after the world cup and we're back in the same scenario of waiting for him again.

Either we end it now and accept he's never coming back or we suffer a few months of humiliation.
