Ange did bring a lot of it on himself with how he dealt with the press. He came in quite arrogant and rubbed some the wrong way. Mostly they enjoyed taking the piss out his "I always win in my 2nd year" stuff and that soured him and them and vice versa. And fair enough, he won the EL and stuck it up their arse.
Also, by April of last year (the quoted tweet re:Ange) Ange has been utter shite for 17 months.

We tend to know these things. I’d expect the manager to be meticulous about this sort of thing too.
