I don't think Vinai is a plant or even a goon fan.
I think he just got lucky with his only real act - hiring Arteta and backing him.
He now thinks that's the defacto move.
I could actually see Vinai doubling down in the summer.
The difference between Spurs and them, is that Arteta got backed. Like backed.
His first summer window (2020) they signed Partey, Gabrielle, Willian, and loaned Odegaard and Ceballos and it seems to ramp up year after year as their league finishes improve.
And they're only getting rid of deadwood along the way.
That would be as stupid as chocolate fire guard.

My belief is tomorrow we should sack Frank win lose or draw.

Because he’s the manager. We are but mere fans and whilst I can only speak for myself, I know that.

We tend to know these things. I’d expect the manager to be meticulous about this sort of thing too.
So you expect managers of Premier League teams to know the amount of red cards all the players in the Premier League have at any given period of time.

Jeesh.

It is madness to want to lose , you'll not find me saying I wanted to lose the game. Only that a point isn't gonna help getting Frank out or easing relegation fear

But you’d rather lose than draw

That is madness

You have no idea whether Frank will be sacked if we lose. Nor do I.

We need every point we can get.

After this season, and post WC, Frank will not survive the summer. I’d rather he was sacked now, but no one here should think losing games rather than getting something is clever as Frank will get sacked sooner. You just don’t know that.

Furthermore, although I think a JH is more likely to improve things than not, again I don’t know that and it’s a risk.

We need every point we can get.

Of course he should be expected to know it. wtf? He’s the manager of the club and he should know the red card history of the man he made captain. You don’t think they consider disciplinary background before making such a decision? Evidently not. It’s a clown show.
He should know Romero's red card tally sure, but to be expected to know he has more red cards than any other Premier League player since he joined the club, it isn't really any of Frank's business to know all other Premier League footballers red card tally, is it?

It's a ridiculous thing to have a go at the bloke about.

Ok

It’s fundamentally shown we’ve hired a fraud. No doubt about it. Let’s be honest we only hired him on his Brentford work and that’s been shown now in hindsight, to be completely misleading. Because if Keith Andrew’s who was the cone man, is now doing a better job with inferior players, it is damning proof that Frank is arguably an inferior manager or, being generous, at the same level to Andrew’s. And would Andrew’s be a candidate for the Spurs job? Would he fuck.

That’s shows the calibre of manager the board decided on with Frank. A decision that may well lead to our relegation. He seems totally incapable of even inspiring us to a win at home.
I think they are hoping Frank can introduce something similar here, not just the manager side of it , but the whole you can put a cone man in as the manager and still finish mid table, that would be the wet dream for ENIC , no big named managers needed just having a football operation that is so well oiled we can always finish around 8th , but young players, give them game time and then flip them on for a huge profit all while milking the stadium for what its worth, obviously I hope i'm very wrong here however I wouldn't put it past these cunts!

If losing tonight guaranteed Frank gets sacked, it might be a better result over all when considering the remaining games

We could well have a Carrick-Like bounce and pick up more results than had Frank remained

This is what he said

"If you look at his record, he's not actually getting that many cards."

I mean its stupid to say this considering that was his second red card for Spurs this season, and I disagree that the gaffer shouldn't know, after his last red card If he didn''t know already I would have expected him to see how many reds Romero has had since his time here! I also feel he has been let down a bit by the club, its obvious he is out of his depth with the media and is saying things that are foolish, so why isn't the club or someone from his team briefing him prior to the interview, its obvious they would mention Romeros red card so he should have been briefed on all of this before hand.

It won't guarantee it though.
Think the board have convinced themselves the shit cliche "give em time" will work.
It won't.

They also know they'd be sacking him largely due to their own mistakes since hiring him.

I'm not arguing that Frank should not have known that Romero gets many red cards, I'm in agreement with that point.

I'm arguing that Frank shouldn't be expected to know if any other Premier League player has had more red cards than Romero since he joined the club.

So when he said ''I didn't know that'' to that specific point it isn't a stick to hit him with, and is rather petty to do so IMO.

Only hope I have is we have started to play a bit better since Heitinger came in as coach. City was decent in the second half and United we were fine until Romero. Don’t know if that is enough though.
