I will always remember the

"Who's Eze?" comment just before Eze scored a hat trick against us.....

I mean, he just couldn't catch a break even when he was trying to be clever.
Maybe he had hypnotherapy to forget his name seeing as how the club could have seemingly gotten him if they'd been that bothered from the stories in the aftermath.

Still, we got Xavi instead. Wasn't his blatant dive yesterday after Sarr's just brilliant to watch as Spurs fans?

This whole "entitled Spurs fans" narrative is absurd.. There isn't a single team in this league, all the way down to Wolves, where the manager would/should feel safe in their job if they were on a run of 2 wins in 17.. Regardless of any caveat.
True.

Thankfully the guys who write this guff aren't responsible for people or other people's money. They just spout trash and get paid a modest amount for it.

Why wouldn't there be reasonable expectations of a club with the 5th highest PL revenue? Those expectations being that we are somewhere in the range of 3rd - 7th best team?

Updated Club statement:

The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Chewing gum position and Thomas Frank will leave today.

Wrigleys were appointed as the club's official chewing gum partner in June 2025, and we have been determined to give them and Frank the chewing time needed to build fresh minty breath for the future together.

However, halitosis and chewing with his mouth open have led the Board to conclude that a change of gum chewer at this point in the season is necessary.

Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has chewed with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the gum forward in his mouth.
We would like to thank him for his oral contribution and wish him and his gum chewing every success in the future

This is what killed him ultimately. Asking players at a team like Spurs to play underdog against teams who are evenly matched or even inferior was never going to sit well with the players or fans. Weak mentality.

There's defensive football and then there is coward football and that's what we were playing. It's no wonder it looked confusing because the players would have been in two minds themselves.
