That to me solidifies yet again why this board are so incompetent at selecting the right man to take the job on. There is a person in that boardroom paid a lot of fuckin money for their expertise in doing exactly that. That means scoping out things like this (candidates gobbling woolwich etc). Just screamed of panic appointment to me. It was a horrid appointment for a club of our expected level.
From the moment we choked a 2-0 lead in the super cup to PSG at the start of the season, I knew where this one was heading. A top manager sees the job through in games like that, you have to agree surely?

I read something about Levy wanted to hire a young up-coming manager instead of Pochettino, and then hired Postecoglou who is older than him.
I reckon Levy didn't want to admit he'd been wrong in sacking Pochettino. it also meant he would have wasted a lot of money in hiring three managers, including all their pay offs.

On top of that he couldn't even bring himself to give one of our talented young attacking mid youth players a chance when we had a severe injury crisis and finished it off by not playing Souza yesterday.
