Because they are speaking on behalf of all their members. The term “Our” means the members of the Trust.
The Trust board have a right of opinion as individuals just like everyone else.
They do not have a right of opinion on behalf of their members without canvassing their members.
I honestly think whoever approved that to go out needs to be removed from the Trust, and the rest need to answer to their members why they thought they had the authority to issue something like this without member approval.
