Used to knock around with him when I was younger, lucky I didn’t get put away.
The less I say the better. Not a good time in my life.
There are the 1978 versions and also some 2000s reprints... do you know if the latter are decent quality? Prices on EBay for the originals are usually extortionate.Saw a copy of TBWAH go on Ebay for £300 recently. Good price actually.

Getting your train ticket from Mary at Warmington House, rocking up at Kings Cross with your mates and a shed load of beers. Arriving up North somewhere to be met by all the Midland and Northern yids. Being marched to the ground ,feeling your owned the place. Taking over the ground to be slowly outnumbered but standing your ground. Getting chased back to the station and having the train bricked as it pulled out
Getting home, watching the match on MotD and living for the next trip.

I still have my return train ticket for the SSC charter to Derby in '78.Sums it up perfectly. Brilliant times.
I think a whole away day out with everything included, travel, ticket, programme, food and drink in 1978 was about £35 in today's money.

£4.50.
And Man. Utd in the December - £6.50.

The things that clearly stand out are the walk to the ground from the station, and seeing "Spurs" and "Park Lane" graffiti on a wall.
The Tommy Doc songs, McAllister's lob and the late Duncan goal for Derby.
Also went there the following season. Chaos after the game, with Derby flinging bricks and bottles galore at us.
I don’t know DH personally but I’ve obviously seen him about. Got to say the TT incident shouldn’t have been put on YouTube but kept in house. IMO. On the grapevine it’s long been gossip but this will make the story grow legs across the nation.Used to knock around with him when I was younger, lucky I didn’t get put away.
