History Tottenham Boys - We Are Here

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

think he's referring to the cup game a couple of seasons ago. Everton bod pulled a Stanley out only to have it took of him by a Wall youth resulting in his face getting mapped up.
plenty of the scouse rats turned Berty Bassett.

I remember that as was living near the den for a bit. The aggro in the air was palpable and I didn't know the history. Was at the ferriers thinking what the fuck's all this for till someone explained it. Coppers everywhere that day - they clearly knew what might happen cos it was a much bigger presence than normal for millwall.

I used to hang around with Harry from Bethnal Green and Clive from Harrow. Used to meet up with a few lads that travelled down from Yorkshire.
Can't believe all these memories from 50 (FIFTY) years ago.

Always liked meeting Spurs fans from other parts of the country at games. Probably was more common in your day since we used to win more bla bla. I remember this Scottish bloke I used to see at away games, can't remember his name, but saw him at Chelsea one year and he was trying to take an entire stand of them by himself 😂 fair play to him

Travelling down from the East Midlands we used to bump into several Bods from St Albans and Watford and teamed up and vice versa when we played Sheffield and Forest etc

Was it the Chelsea Headhunters who left calling cards?

Most of them were from the Reading area according to a Line manager I once had when I worked in Sth Oxon who was a Chav

I don't remember 70's but by the early 80's the Headhunters were fucking divs, getting done all over the place. Their casual firm was taking over by then with the little fella (M), lots from Staines/Surrey and what not.

Load of Surrey Spurs did them outside a club (name I've forgotten) in New Malden. Did them fucking everywhere in the 1982 cup game at their place.

Always had the impression that our lot were made up of little firms from all over. West Ham were more concentrated in the same area.
Your bang on ..there was always infighting between our lot/s..we had little mobs from all over who mostly done there own thing, not often everybody got on or pulled together especially in the early days..
When we did all come together we where virtually untouchable...chavs on 3 occasions, west ham the league cup blind beggar meet and leyton the year after, Millwall div 2 , anderlecht away and a few others where we never took a backward step come to mind easily.

I think the fact that we didn't have big bank behind the goal made it all a bit fractious. You walk right round WHL back then so away fans were never safe anywhere.
Sir Bill always said that European players used to come out of the tunnel directly exposed to the Shelf, it terrified them.
Originally there were lads from Paddington, Willesden, south London and the home countries, Wolves and the midlands and Northern Spurs who I still see at Euro away games.
Plus our little gang of 7 stone soaking wet, 14 year olds from Basingstoke, terrifying. :levylol:
