Match Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax, Champions League Semi-Final, Tue 30th April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I appreciate what Ajax've done so far, but it might take a long time before we get another golden opportunity to reach the final of the CL.

I think we will see a 2-1 tomorrow and a draw in Amsterdam, Spurs v Barca in the final.

It's a whole different ball game when you are favourites

Ajax are fit, rested, knocked out Real and Juve, now they are favourites against us so let's see if they can handle the expectation.

If I was Spurs, I would sign Ziyech. He is not the strongest but he is developing into a very good player. There is one thing. Look at Tadic. He was an average player in the Premier League but in the Netherlands, he is one of the best in the league. In the Netherlands, it’s not as difficult as people think.

Apologies if already been posted but for those who had the same problem as me trying for tickets ( added to basket, entered card details and then kicked out) - just received email today with the ticket confirmation! Please check emails.

Really worried about this boy for the last few seasons he is always out injured for quite long periods not sure we will ever see the best of him.
It shouldn't have come down to him having to lynch pin the midfield this entire season when he had just had major surgery last Summer and had been very injury prone prior to that anyway. He's been one of the major casualties of failing to sign midfield reinforcements with the volume of matches he's had to play as a result.

We're borderline fucked without Winks in this one though.

Our midfield play is far too slow without him and no one seems to know how to actually control a game. Which is surprising even when Eriksen plays deep.

Sissoko being fit would be key. Whilst he doesn't know the meaning of control nor is he particularly quick with the ball at his feet in the same way Winks recycles and keeps possession, he gives us something different in that he can get up and down the field and take the ball from defence to attack in an instant.

It also means we can play Dele further forward and go with:

Lloris
Trippier - Alderweireld - Sanchez - Vertonghen - Rose
Sissoko - Wanyama - Eriksen
Lucas - Dele
Big weakness in Ajax's game is their defence. I watched them against Vitesse and they were dreadful in picking up players. That is where Dele could really be useful.

Even if we go 4 at the back, wouldn't be against bringing Llorente in and having Dele play really close to him to hopefully feed off of some knock downs or flick ons.
