Match Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax, Champions League Semi-Final, Tue 30th April

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Cumon spurs we are still in this, it was never going to be easy. We need a good kick up the back side. Hopefully we can gain a foot in midfield and use Nandi more often, when we have popped the ball up to him we have done well in spells.

Him passing the ball 15 yards sideways to Son for Son's goal against City will go down on the stats but it's a pass most players would make. We need Eriksen (and Dele) to step up tonight, orchestrate the midfield, good crosses for Llorente etc. We're seeing nothing from both and any stats you throw don't change that.

Our best chance of the game was created by Eriksen.

Mate the crowd was loud as fuck at the start, so loud you couldn’t even hear the CL anthem!

I have dug our support out numerous times since we moved into the new stadium but tonight you can’t fault them, the energy dropped off because the team was playing shit and Ajax were frankly making us look like a youth team.

Unfortunately I missed the build up.. the entitled moans and groans when a player even thinks about a back pass (which is a perfectly normal part of the game) is not only pissing me off but there have been times when it is getting into the players heads - a specific moment with Wanyama comes to mind.

They have had everything their way, hopefully now we can cause them plenty of problems.
Having Sissoko back is massive.

No idea why am I even angry, I was not expecting anything other than a defeat after reading Wanyama and Llorente on the lineup.

We're paying the price for transfer inactivities at the worst possible stage.
