Happy For the win. But not betting that we'll win anything yet. Ange is stubborn as a mule. Had we played a Better team, I don't think wed've won. I disagree with Ange, we need a Good No 6. Bentancur/Bissouma can play the role against easier teams but fall short against 'The Top Teams'. We need to alternate between Inverted FBs and Using WBs depending on the team we play.
I Believe Conté or Jose with this team would have had us close to challenging for Trophies. We still miles off.

Turned turnovers into great chances today which was a fcuking relief. Still fucked up a few but it was definitely better. Up next is getting low crosses and cut backs sorted.

I don’t think Ange’s ethos is based on “possession” as a fundamental tenet, it’s more about aggression, intensity, and looking to play the incisive ball, and quickly, the problem is when teams sit deep and you have a bunch of bumblers as creatives and forwards you just end up with lots of possession because you keep winning back.
I think Brentford didn’t get the memo regarding how to beat us. All they needed to do was park the bus and counter.
