So we had a tad less possession today ?

Swap that any day for Spurs having 23 shots 10 on target with 3 goals versus 6 shots, 6 on target and 1 goal.

Maybe we should have both scored more goals today and cut out some of their attacks, but that just refinement of our performance

Oh fuck off.

See everyone. THIS is exactly why you and your ilk are referred to as whingers or melters.

Shit on the club when the going is tough. Refuse to praise or make some kind of excuse when we win.

No chance in hell you are or have ever been a spurs supporter. Not a fucking chance.

Blocked. I’d rather post with and enjoy posts of actual fans.
Yeah you just know the skulkers that will stay in the shadows today!

Man Utd will have to show some aggression against us next week as the home side. And we're showing that we can exploit that space quite well when it's there. A good chance to really ignite the season next week.

I've criticised the manager and I don't think it's been beyond justification.. But I'm still desperate for him to be a success because when we do win and play well with this kind of football, it feels fucking incredible..

Nothing would make then happier than to in 6-7 months feel like an absolute prick for questioning him..
Anyone who loves the club would rather this, as it would mean the THFC is doing well.

It's up to him to convince enough fans that he deserves that time.

Those who, legitimately, question certain aspects of Ange's methodology, do so because they want THFC to be successful and do well.

It's Ange's job - and the job of ANY manager - to maintain the fan's faith in him delivering that success.

Lovely win and glad for Solanke and Johnson who both played very well.

On the Vic handball it's not a red is it hence why VAR can't get involved? The two times he touched it to stop the Brentford player getting the ball he was in the box, the third touch there's no danger so it should have been a yellow and a free kick?

Very satisfying to watch us move to play on the counter late in the half also hopefully a sign a plan B is being developed
Vic must have trod in shit on his way to the stadium today.

Played well and simply had to win. Id play Solanke v Qarabag for 50-60 minutes on thursday to get some rhythm and bag a few goals. Not liking our position in table atm. Have to win next sunday v utd and brighton. Both winnable but id take 4 points now.

Vicario who made a ton of saves? That Vicario?

:nunothumb: :dembelefingers:
to be fair gomes also made some fucking masterclass saves but had moments of blunders
i just hope vic will sort out the less good part of his game and keep his superp shot stopping ability the same
still kinda young enough for a keeper now days with his 27 years old to improve
(i was a keeper as well so i have nothing but love 4 him)

Two more joys from today were Kulu chasing balls into the corner at the death, determined to get a fourth. And Archie Gray’s jumping back heel clearance to Kulu to start another break. Lovely stuff.

Not going to happen until we upgrade people imo.

Nah. Brennan's bread and butter is first time crosses and low ones with either foot. And you can't tell me that Son can't put a cut back or a cross.

It's confidence and timing with teammates. I saw Maddison actually stop and look at the byline in the first half. I know that Ange wants them to cross instinctively without looking but atm I feel like a lot of our crosses are early.
