Very professional performance, great first half, second half was always going to be like that imo when you're 4-0 up just lol if you expected us to risk injuries and other crap when we've got so many games coming up.
COYS!

Heart is a little disappointed that we didn't go on to score a hat full in the second half.

But head knows that the game management/dropping the pace of the game was very smart with the CL game midweek and heavy run of games coming up in mind.

Only critique would be not using our subs a little earlier, and missing out on the chance to bring on a player like Sessegnon or Parrott at the end - but then again, I don't think anyone thought it was going to be so straightforward.

We were fine in the 2nd half, should have had at least one more probably. Felt like we were trying to force it to Son for the hat trick. Not a big deal.

Great game overall.

Not much to fear from United this season.
Maybe. I don't like taking that for granted though. We said Same about Chelsea last year. & United would have finished above us if they had won those last 2 easy games. & I was told the same about Liverpool & they finished miles ahead of us. There was barely anything in it between us, Chelsea, Woolwich & United.

If you hammer a team in the 1st half, It's normal to go through the motions in the 2nd half in modern football. Its a long old season, So rest when you can.

Exactly, you expend much more energy scrapping a 1-0 win with a late goal than you do if you get 2 or 3 goals up early on. Man City are masters of this - getting the game won in the first 20 or 30 minutes.

United use to do that under fergie at home. Attack after attack from the start. A few goals up by half time & then take it easy in the 2nd. As you say ,City do it well too. Good tactic.

Tasty performance that.... Most enjoyable. Always happy to see a clean sheet too.

Serge & Sissoko both showing 2 fingers to the haters.

We are now 3rd.

COYS!!!
